This was a really fun and surprisingly addictive tower defense game!
I loved the idea of connecting modifiers to the guns and experimenting with different combinations. It's a clever interpretation of the jam theme, and watching a build slowly come together was very satisfying.
The progression loop kept me engaged the whole time. Every failed wave still felt rewarding because I could improve my setup, unlock upgrades, and come back stronger. Before I knew it, I had spent much longer playing than I originally planned.
I can definitely see why so many people are saying this has potential beyond the jam. The core gameplay is already solid and very enjoyable, and it feels like there are a lot of exciting directions you could take it in the future.
Also, it's always great to see another game made in Godot!
Great work, and congratulations on a very fun submission.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the motivation. I will hopefully get to upgrade the gun even further.
Fun and addictive game. I liked to tinker around after the wave and then let the machine roll when the waves come. One thing I would try to see how it plays is to have a limit on how many connections a gun can have. I think that would make it more strategic. And also make re-routing cables after a wave a thing. Great stuff though, I had fun playing it all to the end.
Thank you so much for playing, Initially I thought of putting a limit of 3 connections per gun, but later I just thought to let players have all the fun for this jam. after the jam I will update the game and make the limitations, I will also have to nerf the enemies abit to match. Thank you for your feedback :)
Had fun with this!! Would've played more, but i fully upgraded 3 snipers and the enemies were getting blown up off screen. This is a real fun concept tho! I imagine this being expanded out with a little stream lined iteration. If there were more enemy types, if the connections could happen with a single click and drag. And maybe the nodes themselves had cool downs, so you can connect 3 nodes to one gun but it only lasts like 10 seconds. And you see the energy surging between the node and the gun. I think this could be a solid title i would actually pay for.
Thank you so much. I love your ideas. I can see the potential in this game as well, there can be more varieties of guns with more permanent upgrades, and more enemies can be done with wave system and stages and instead of the connection system we can do equip system in gun that guns can equip multiple modifiers based on the level of gun. These are some ideas that I have. Hopefully I will get to work more on this.
Thanks for the confidence boost 😊
Am I doing this right?
I expected a regular tower defense type of game, and was a little surprised that to start out with I didn't appear to have any choices. I soon realized it's more of a grind and upgrade type of game, which at this point is a welcomed alternative.
I lost several times on Wave 3, and a couple on Wave 5. After that I'd gotten enough money to steamroll everything. By wave 18 I had everything fully upgraded.
As pictured, I didn't see a reason not to connect every gun to every upgrade. Is there some strategy that I was missing? Maybe having split shot on a sniper makes it less effective? Or connecting several guns to the same upgrade splits its advantages between them?
The sound of the guns became a bit repetitive after a bit, especially since they drown out the music when things get hectic.
This was nice fun while I still had unlocks to work toward!
Thank you so much for playing and the detailed response. This the first prototype of the game so I just let players use all the modifiers and have fun with it. Balanced the waves as much as I could. And yes it is more like incremental grindy game right now, strategy part will come once I limit the modifier usage. My goal for the game was to let player test everything out, have fun and complete the game.
I appreciate your kind feedback.
Grindy, incremental games seem like a niche growing in popularity right now. While more strategic options will help give the game depth, I do like the 'failing forward' progress mode you're currently using.
Thank you.. I hope to work more on the game and take all the feedbacks in the game a try to put a positive playstyle on the game <3
Awesome take on the theme and a cool idea for a tower defense! Good job on the game!
Thanks you so much. Appreciate it 😊
Fun game and good execution. I think the strategy is a bit simplistic, needs some more flexibility or limits on the connections you can have.
Thank you so much. And yes that is the next idea to implement. 😊
I had a lot of fun with this, i felt sad i could only buy 3 guns though, and i might have missed something but it feels like the strat is always to connect all the upgrades with every gun? Is that possible?
Hello.. thank you for playing. In short time I could only do 3 guns but in future hopefully I will work on it make more guns. Also yes the strategy is very simple right now.
Very fun game. Upon higher levels though some enemies have a lot of health and they don't die quickly even with so many upgrades, doesn't fail the wave though.
Thank you. I appreciate it very much 😊
Super cool game. Took me a while to understand the connections without doing the tutorial, but it was fun to play this while you were there. The game looks good, plays fun and it's a nice look at Tower Defense mechanics.

Thank you so much. I appreciate it very much. I played your game and it was a very great experience. Very polished game and great mechanics.
Thank you very much! We had a ton of fun making this game for you guys. Already we have heard requests for more levels.
Really fun game. Played it the longest this jam so far. :)
Thank you. I'm glad you had fun 😊
Nice submission. Only after wave 16 I realized that I can level up the upgrades :D so... big shout out for not punishing me (players) for a fails and not forcing to start all over after loses! I see how many different features could be implemented into the game so - there is developing potential.
Thank you for playing. I'll crank up the difficulty in near update. Appreciate it <3
Really fun game, I died around wave 14 I think but it was super enjoyable. Music fits nicely too, but I am a sucker for defence games like this. Thanks for making it! I just connect everything.
Thank you.. I appreciate it 😊
What a fun game, it has entertained me, congratulations!
Thank you so much. Appreciate it 😊
You knocked it out of the park. I don't TD games but yours was great fun.
Thanks for the play
Thank you so much brother 😊
Really liked the execution of this, fun concept
Thank you. Appreciate it very much 😊
Fun game, maybe harsher punishment for failing waves would be nice.
Thank you so much. For the jam I made it easy so that everyone can finish it and enjoy completely 😊
A good TD game, had a lot of fun playing it. Good job!
Thank you.. I appreciate it very much 😊
I love tower defense game. I had fun playing this game.
Thank you.. I appreciate it very much.
Had fun playing this one!! Definitely got potential!! GG!
Thank you.. much appreciated bro
a good td game. felt like it is somewhat unbalanced - at first it wasn't clear that the player can place the turrets on all three places. after realizing that the player can place three turrets instead of one, the game became too easy.
such a game is worth continuing. great job!
Thank you, i appreciate it. I toned dow the difficulty so players can finish it quick and not get frustrated.I'll sure to work more on it. Thanks again.
