You start with just a little bit of money. Every bone you find pays, but every dig or scan costs too. So don't go Bone Broke! =)

This was an excellent entry. Really enjoyed my time with it even if I wasn't able to finish it. (I will probably come back and try again. lol) Art style was really cute. Music was nice and relaxing. Animations were also really well done. I really liked the puzzle aspect and it was pretty fun just trying to figure the game out. Not sure if you can skip actions or save them for later? Some of the screenshots maybe implied that you could but I didn't figure out how if so. I think this game has a lot of potential for a post jam version if you're planning on doing so. Really great job, well done!
No, you can't skip actions in this version. But there is a lot of feedback to make it a bit more flexible. So we'll see for the post-jam version.
Appreciate your feedback and praise alot. Thanks for playing!
Interesting concept and well made, there was a bit of clunkiness to the ui for me (clicking scan would also move the screen view, for example). Nice work.
Each dig or scan focuses the camera on that tile (within some tolerance). Maybe that's what you experienced?
To move the camera around without digging/scanning, you can click on tiles already dug (or even outside of the visible tiles). I added this behavior very late in the jam and I don't really like it. Dragging around the level with the mouse would have been much better, I think. But, alas, time was running out =)
Thanks for your feedback and playing!
Fun idea! Really nice presentation too, good job. Would be cool to maybe split it into levels or have some set goals, but I like the concept in general :)
Multiple levels were on the todo list ... but the jam deadline had other plans for the game =)
Thanks for playing!
Wow this is the jam winner It feels amazing to play. (Wish it was slightly easier lol). Please make this playable on mobile, ill play this every day.
We'll see how your prediction holds =)
I'm just super happy I could submit this on time ... and people seem to have fun with it (despite the difficulty!).
Basic mobile support? I can probably make this happen in the post-jam version. I have no experience with this though.
Thanks for your feedback!
Super addicting gameplay and I love the art style and music. Definitely one of my favorites from this game jam and one of the most complete. Great submission!
It's really difficult to reach some sort of completeness in a short game jam under time pressure. But it makes the experience so much better for the player, I think. So, great to hear you appreciate it =)
Thanks for playing!
This is my favorite of all the games so far. I very much enjoyed this.
I love that I am being forced to make interesting decisions about how to use my moves. Giving the player knowledge of upcoming moves is extremely smart design. The sounds were good, I liked the particles in the background, I liked the variation in bone sprites, I like the different dig shapes, I love the rocks covering some tiles.
Very very well done. The only critical feedback I would give is that the camera controls need some work.
Seriously, so fun. this would make a sick full game.
Yeah, so true about the camera controls! I only noticed that I need it after I made the final, larger, level ... and didn't have any time left to code a better system =)
Thanks for your praise! Means a lot to me.
Wow this is really nice and polished! are planning to release a full game from this? I'd love to follow along!
We'll see. There are so many ideas for a full game floating in my head, I have problems to decide on one =)
Thanks for playing!
This is a really cool game! Pretty tricky, especially because my memory is terrible lol, but still really cool! Very clear game concept, and super polished especially for being made in only 3 days. Great work!
Judging from other feedback, I might have tuned the difficulty a notch too hard. So it's probably not your memory (alone) =)
Great to hear you still liked it!
The gameplay is really addicting. I like the minimalist, clean artstyle with the calm music.
Appreciate your positive feedback.
Thanks for playing!
This is a very cool game. I love the style; it actually uses many effects and elements that work with modern pixel games and uses them well. The only thing that I maybe wish to have is the ability to choose among a few abilities or maybe the ability to rotate the dig line when I get it.
But generally it is a very well-made game as it is.
Appreciate your feedback and your wishes are noted. They might go into the post-jam version, we'll see.
Thanks for playing!
This game is so addicting! I really enjoyed it! The background effect is beautiful!
Making the background was fun. Appreciate that you liked it =)
Thanks for playing!
I love the idea and the execution! The game is simple to the point where you do not need a tutorial yet complex enough to not feel midless also replayability is great and the polish is on point! Honestly, a certified banger, great job!
Sounds like you had fun. Goal accomplished! =)
Thanks for playing!
Very catchy puzzle game, well done, its really interestring to start over, again and again!
Appreciate your praise! Thanks.
Really cool idea! I would love to build a way to swap up which tiles are coming next so you can customize a bit towards what you see during your scans.
Presentation was great and UI was really clear! I didn't spend any time confused about what to do or how to interactive with the game, and got right into spending a few runs just trying to get a higher score!
Great to hear that it is easy to get going. I explicitly designed the first few blocks and cards for this. So, nice to have your confirmation.
Also appreciate your suggestion about the swapping. Maybe the post-jam version will have some changes in that direction, we'll see.
Thanks for playing!
The game is very, very difficult, but the idea is really good and the whole thing is well executed!
Yeah, sorry for difficulty =)
Great to hear you still liked the idea and execution. Appreciate it!
Omg, the concept works so well! The game is super hard, but you want to keep playing!
I think the idea worked out quite well. But doing the level design and balancing the difficulty while totally sleep-deprived was a bad move. Well, actually, I totally forgot to balance it, when I think of it =)
Thanks for your feedback and for giving it a try!
really polished game love it , it fun and i think i will replay this game sometime it addictive ? greath job
Replay as many times as you like it =)
Thanks for playing!
Such a cute and polished game! All the sfx, music, and visuals really make it feel so fun to play. I also love how the bones are connected to make a skeleton. I also made a bone-digging game, so it was really cool to see your approach!
Nice to hear you liked it, fellow bone-digging jammer!
I think the bones look a bit awkward, but they also give the game a characteristic look. Really need to practice my (barely existing) art skills =)
Will try out your game shortly...
Thanks for checking out my game! I think the skeletons look great! Also, I forgot to mention that the dig animation is so satisfying, and overall, the style feels really cohesive. It's a really nice little game!
Very good polish game that's kind of insane for a weekend jam. So stressful but very fun to play nice job!
Appreciate your praise! Means a lot to me. It was really an intense 72h =)
Thanks for playing!
The game is nice and fun, I liked it. It's a game I can play when I'm bored. It's also a pretty good game for jam. What do you think of my game?
Great to hear you had fun with the game!
I just played, rated, and commented on your game. Liked the hungry dinos =)
