Oh, I love the vibe of this so much!

What about making them turn the direction once in a while? Would make it even more lively.

And, no idea why, I though about how cool it would be to have fancy hats you can give to the dancers to wear =)

No, you can't skip actions in this version. But there is a lot of feedback to make it a bit more flexible. So we'll see for the post-jam version.

Appreciate your feedback and praise alot. Thanks for playing!

Each dig or scan focuses the camera on that tile (within some tolerance). Maybe that's what you experienced?

To move the camera around without digging/scanning, you can click on tiles already dug (or even outside of the visible tiles). I added this behavior very late in the jam and I don't really like it. Dragging around the level with the mouse would have been much better, I think. But, alas, time was running out =)

Thanks for your feedback and playing!

This is visually so perfect!

The last level has taken me a really long time, but I did it =)

Such a simple but nice concept and flawless execution.

Really wonderful game jam entry you have here. Congrats!

What in the Flappy Bird Mario Kart is this? =)

I love & hate the coin particle system. It's so smooth, but it means I made a mistake!

Challenging game you have here, but a fun one. I really liked it!

I arbitrage'd the hell out of the local dino market =)

Great game jam entry! Is complete and executed nicely!

Had fun figuring out everything.

Congratulations on your submission!

Multiple levels were on the todo list ... but the jam deadline had other plans for the game =)

Thanks for playing!

What a nice gem you have here!

There is a funny story, amazing art, multiple levels, plus a numbers go up aspect. In other words, a complete small game =)

I really enjoyed this game and played until the very end.

Congratulations on your submission!

Had fun figuring out all the cards =)

What about introducing another mechanic to make the game more interesting in the long run?

Congratulations on submitting!

I love a physics-based game!

Played so many more rounds than was planned ... a very good sign =)

I like the upgrades and the behavior of the car. Needs a bit of effort to master the timing and controls, but that's the fun of it.

Enjoyed it a lot!

Played so many runs  ... but 94 was the hard limit for me. Not sure if this is ok-ish or just plain bad =)

I like the idea of customizing your dino to have an optimal flight performance! The flying behavior could need a bit of fine-tuning though.

What about making different challenges, such as reaching a target, flying through obstacles, doing loopings, ...? This way you would need to tune for different aspects.

Really attractive to fly a dinosaur for me.  Had fun with it =)

Congratulations on your submission!

We'll see how your prediction holds =)

I'm just super happy I could submit this on time ... and people seem to have fun with it (despite the difficulty!).

Basic mobile support? I can probably make this happen in the post-jam version. I have no experience with this though.

Thanks for your feedback!

Dino party! I like this idea quite a bit =)

Had fun figuring out what you can do and what works. Needs a bit more polish, but keep working on it!

Congratulations on your submission!

This is your first game jam? Nice entry you have here!

Enjoyed playing it and dreaming about being an ambitious archeology student =)

Congratulations on your submission!

I'm not really into the horror genre so much, but I like this concept (and the backstory) very much. To use a silence budget is also quite a creative take on the limitation. Nice!

Played it for much longer than expected, so that's a good sign =)

Congratulations on your submission!

It's really difficult to reach some sort of completeness in a short game jam under time pressure. But it makes the experience so much better for the player, I think. So, great to hear you appreciate it =)

Thanks for playing!

Beosil

Lucky me has exactly 6 characters =)

I like this idea!

I like physics-based mechanics, so I love this one quite a bit =)

Got to 4759m after a few tries and really got into "doing the swing"!

What about putting some extras to collect in the air? This would open up some additional challenges.

The art is also cool, love the meteor design.

Had quite a bit of fun with this one and got into a competition against my brother. He lost ;-)

Congratulations on your submission!

Yes, there is a bit of a trial & error phase at the beginning ... but then it clicked for me =)

I think you have an interesting game here that just needs a bit polish to really shine. Keep working on it!

I like the card designs and the fitting music choice.

Congratulations on your submission!

That time I was a game dev and was sent to the holocene period, where a game jammer wants my rating.

You already won the special prize for the longest game title. Congratulations! =)

The game is fun too. Liked the different weapons and the variety of enemies and their attack patterns.

I had a few strange things happening, such as only be able to attack and shoot to the right. And when replaying, the regular attack wasn't working anymore (no weapon visible either). You could maybe polish it a bit more after the jam?

I played quite a few rounds and enjoyed it a lot.

You made everything yourself, and this is your first game jam? You did very well. Congratulations on your submission!

I didn't know I have such a deep desire to take care of dinosaurs! Even the slightest loss of HP made me feel sad. When a game can evoke such feelings, then something is designed right =)

Somehow I also adore the little heart particle system. Cute!

Enjoyed it!

What a great idea to have the player paint them! I like this so much.

Would be cool to be able to create multiple ... to have you dino family =)

What a creative jam entry you have here!

I really like the art in your game, so beautiful! And the parallax effect when you dive is so perfect for this. =)

The variety of dinosaurs impressed me too. How many are there btw?

The fight system needs a bit more decision making while it happens. What about giving the player the possibility to pair up each dino with a chosen enemy? And then the party with more individual victories win the whole battle? This would result in more control and fun I think.

Congratulations on your submission!

Yeah, so true about the camera controls! I only noticed that I need it after I made the final, larger, level ... and didn't have any time left to code a better system =)

Thanks for your praise! Means a lot to me.

I reached the end! but what a sad ending =/

Simple but fun puzzle game you have here. I really like the player sprite!

What about adding a fitting background music? That would multiply the experience for me.

Would have loved more levels, I just reached my flow state when it was over =)

Congratulations on submitting!

Nice little jam entry you have here.

I liked how you unlock abilities one by one, in a satisfying pace. The level design also matches the progression. Worked well for me. I felt a bit disappointed when it ended, a good sign =)

Had a good time playing it through. Congratulations on submitting!

I like the game idea and creativity. And i could train my number typing a bit =)

What about making the show start automatically after a run, and have the crowd cheer? The more bones you collected the louder (and a disappointing reaction when you have just a few)? Would make that part of the game a lot more fun, I think.

Nice game jam entry you have here. Congratulations on the submission!

A tiny boat, a few t-rex sharks, and a shotgun. Let the fun begin!

I dont't have a mouse here with me ... just a lousy trackpad, so this was a bigger challenge than it already is. =)

But I had a lot of fun with it! And my brother even more! My wife on the other hand, well, she has a different taste...

Creative jam entry, I like it!

So I had to stop playing this ... my neighbors knocked at my door to see if I'm alright =)

If a game makes me do such strange noises, it must have struck a nerve. I reaooooorly enjoyed this experience.

Thank you!

Ah, make sense. Thanks for the clarification!

I like this one! A few simple rules, but quite a lot of interesting emergent gameplay.

Execution is great too. Nice visuals, fitting music and a polished UI.

Never knew, I would enjoy herding dinos so much =)

Amazing jam entry you have here!

Wow, love this one! Art, music, UX, and the creative idea. Brilliant.

One small nitpick: At the end of a carving (when you press Space), $30 will be deducted from the score. This sort of messes with my expectation of progression. Maybe just remove this? Or did I miss something?

Other than that, it's just perfect. Really enjoyed playing this =)

We'll see. There are so many ideas for a full game floating in my head, I have problems to decide on one =)

Thanks for playing!

Judging from other feedback, I might have tuned the difficulty a notch too hard. So it's probably not your memory (alone) =)

Great to hear you still liked it!

Appreciate your feedback and your wishes are noted. They might go into the post-jam version, we'll see.

Thanks for playing!

Appreciate your positive feedback.

Thanks for playing!

Making the background was fun. Appreciate that you liked it =)

Thanks for playing!

Sounds like you had fun. Goal accomplished! =)

Thanks for playing!

That's a really nice game you have here. Polished and complete!

I like the art style very much, minimalist but super fitting.

Enjoyed playing this. Very good jam entry!

Appreciate your praise! Thanks.
