Appreciate your help a lot!
And thanks for your tireless work for the community here.
Hi everyone
I now have two published game jam winners (from New Year and early May) that are not showing up in searches at all. I read all the docs and made sure the games and project pages meet all the requirements. I understand that new accounts and games go through a manual review queue. Could someone please take a quick look and approve the indexing?
The corresponding Ticket ID is: #364926
Games: Plushplotion and Banachrono
Thank you so much for your help and time!
Thanks for making this!
I bought this audio pack and used two of your songs as fitting background music in my recent game jam submissions (Banachrono and Plushplotion). And I strongly believe it helped quite a bit to have them both win =)
So, I will definitely use another song of yours in some of my upcoming projects too!
I quite enjoyed this. What's not to like about shooting bullets with pixel effects =)
Yeah, it's a bit short and you can shoot through walls ... but it's a fun game nevertheless!
What about adding some blow back to enemies that got hit? Adds a bit more of juice to it.
And last but not least: I love the title screen.
I really like the short but deep story of this, coupled with the different music styles. Makes it feel special =)
The game mechanic is simple, not too difficult, but completely fine for such a game jam.
The objects spawn in the middle of the screen though, not at the right border. You might want to look into this.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience!
With a lot of trial and error, and a bit of patience, I reached "the end" of the game. Quite a nice little adventure after all.
Some starting hints for future players (spoiler alert):
With a bit of polish, this could be a fun game. Enjoyed it!
So, I have just played it again for a few rounds.
I think I misjudged it before. The one thing I had trouble with was the shooting direction. Now I know why: I often tried to turn say 90° and also shoot at the same instant. In such cases, my shots usually went according to the previous walking direction, not the one I thought I just turned to. Hope this makes sense.
In the last few rounds, I consciously walked a step into the direction I wanted to shoot first, and only then fired a shot. Worked great this way!
Looks like it was more an issue with me than with your game controls after all ;-)
