Hey man, I'd love to play and rate your game but I have a mac which isn't compatible with your build. I would HIGHLY recommend doing a WEBGL build so that it can be played in the browser as 95% of people won't download a game to play it in a game jam. I see your using unity, i'f you don't know how to do this, just look up "making a WEBGL build and uploading it to itch" and there should be plenty of videos! I hope this helps, let me know if you need any help and Ill be back to play your game (which looks super cool!).
This is awesome! You have a great amount of content for such a short game especially for how polished it all feels. Perfect tie into mythology and I love that multiple levels sometimes even built on to the same story, like Orion's or Hercules' story! It was a bit challenging at first and sometimes frustrating if you connected everything but didn't do it quite right if you aren't familiar with consolations, but if you just give it some time, you get a sense for what works and doesn't. I totally appreciate the quality over quantity here and its still plenty of content for a game jam.
This game caught my eye cause it has a lot in common with my game! Very interesting and unique concept for a physics-like puzzle all though it did take me a while to understand what was happening and i'd love to see more levels! It so cool that we had such similar ideas of puzzle games where you form consolations but ended up going two very different routes. I really hope that you play mine so you can see how they are alike.
Love the video such a fun thing to do so we can see your reaction to our games! The game does scale in terms of difficulty as new things are added. I do feel as though sometimes it’s unfairly difficult especially with the snake (Green rectangle lol) and I would have loved to add sound. Thanks a lot for entertainment!
This game was really fun I hope some more people play it! The minigame-like QTE's are really smart and feel very well fleshed out and incorporated. For the choices that you're given in the game, I would suggest maybe pausing the game cause I often felt too stressed about dying to actually read what the trade offs were. Great game!
Great job for your first ever game jam! I really liked the lighting an how certain things only appeared in the darkness pushing the player to not just gun for the exit. Maybe you could also add some enemies that move so that there is some strategy to filling the levels up with ink, or maybe you have to cover at least 50% of the map before being allowed to move on. I made it to level 14 with a score of 161.
