The try-hard limitations were well executed! The changing music, photo images, and lack of text definitely create kind of a surreal experience, but it's refreshingly unusual and both intuitive yet challenging to play!

Played this the other day but didnโt rate, my bad! I think my only gripes were the unclear score count and the customers left quickly even though the order was large (maybe this is a skill issue though haha). Nice game overall though, has a nice gameplay loop and Iโm looking forward to updates if you put any out!
It's a very simple concept but executed pretty well.
I did have a recurring bug where customers would leave if I wasn't fast enough, and then the next customer would pop for a half second and leave instantly, which was a little weird.
Other than that, great job! I think it would be quite good with a little more polish, and perhaps more coherent visuals (the emojis and the pictures felt like they didn't really belong with the cute art style and should have been like actual items on the counter, but I understand you probably didn't have time to concentrate on that)
Thanks for sharing
Nice work! The game is simple but neat.
Yeah the music is crazy and really interesting at the same time. Some parts that definitely made me go "oh wow!" but it just jumped around too much between unrelated tunes. Definitely some unique skill in there and I expect big things in the future!
that intro music was pretty intense... well, the music in general is...
i like the concept, has potential ๐ปbut atm,, i seems to be missing a bit of polish
Hiii! I liked the game - brought a smile to my face. The music was (although sometimes a little intense) spectacular. I liked the part where I had to figure out the meaning of the icons, but the difference in art style for them was a little jarring. I would've loved some sort of UI element to indicate my score to give it a bit more of a sense of progression, but overall very fun and well-functioning!
Very cute game! Easy enough to understand but I wish it had a score/money counter or something to up the challenge or give it more variety. I also had a problem with some customers like whisking past the screen as well as the music overlapping with each other or something of the sort. Overall very cute and simple game! Great job :)
Very comfy little puzzle/reaction game y'all have made here with a cute art style and nice gameplay loop! I will say, and maybe this is a skill issue, but some of the orders were very long and the customer left before I could even finish reading it. I would also love to see the images of the items/ingredients in the same style as the rest of the game because it's so pretty! Overall, well done and excellent entry!
Some customers disappear before you can complete their order because there are phases that divide the game into groups of customers, so it's less of a skill issue and more of a gameplay feature, but we'll still probably need to add some visual element to make this obvious. You're not the only one who noticed! XD Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback!
A great foundation for a very fun and replayable game. The art is fantastic! The music kept changing up too frequently and so became a little jarring. It would be nice to see all the ingredients and customer order icons redone in the same art style to really polish it off! Great work!
Hey! I made the music for this game.
That is mainly a fault of mine in my opinion, I was instructed to make 24 second tracks that could work for each "phase" some being rush hour.
I ended up accidently making them too far apart genre wise, so I am sorry about that haha.
It changing frequently is meant to represent each phase though, so that is intentional, although perhaps we should've made it perhaps not switch as fast.
I really like the art in this. And the music is great too, although, i do feel it would be nice to have some text to explain a few things regarding how to play within the game. Other than that, it's a nice idea with good execution. Also, how did you make the art for this game? They look really good
The absence of text is actually a feature, since one of the optional limitation was about "illegible text". I didn't come around adding actual text, but at that point the whole gameplay had been designed with no actual written instructions, so I just went with it XD The art was made digitally in Procreate using the suggested palette for the jam. Thank you for playing! :)
Very nice! Nice little game with a lot of replayability. My only thing is the music changes are a little quick, but honestly it depends on how fast you can choose the correct items. I hope you guys can update the game to change the images :) Nice work!
Pretty good idea! nice art and coffee shop are the place to be comfy! Would be curious where it goes if developed further!
I love the idea of matching the images from the customers to the images on the right side - and figuring out which milk is which lol! Some of the customers were too quick for me but still matched the cozy vibe!
Considering this isn't the first comment I saw about the speed of the customers, I definetly need to put in some visual element for the phase of the game xD Thank you for the feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed the gameplay and it wasn't a frustrating mess. Trying to visually communicate "plant-based-milk" is NOT an easy task XD
The visuals are really nice, so I agree with the other comment that it's unfortunate the ingredient pictures don't quite match the art style. I love the concept and it would be cool to see the idea taken even further! It was also fun to see the variation in customers.
really enjoyed the visuals. I will say the pictures on the right don't match the art style. Maybe a quick fix would to trace over them in a similar style? Sometimes the orders skip. I am not sure if that was on purpose. Great starting point overall.
Very comfy! Loved the visuals and audio, there was some issues like the order sometimes disappearing very quickly, but overall it's a nice relaxing game.
