The music is just amazing. Definitely of my favorite tracks from the jam games I've played, I really love it. Applying the color palette in 3D is something hard to pull off, but it looks really lovely. I found it a bit difficult to get in the flow of the game, but the direction and process have potential for a very satisfying experience. :]

A very straightforward and satisfying game! The little pop sounds with interactions make a huge difference with satisfaction. The art is simple but very silly so it totally works for the vibe, I love the shop owner's expressions when you toggle over upgrades, and the way the customers' eyes bug out when they see a strawberry. I think it has potential for different upgrades that change the course of the game. At the moment, the upgrades all change the speed you can clear a level -- but I'm pretty sure the amount of money you earn per round is fixed? It's satisfying to be able to plant faster and faster to keep up with the increased amount of seeds, but an upgrade on "strawberry quality" and how much you make per strawberry could be an interesting addition. I don't mind the fixed pay rate though, I'm just thinking of things that would be interesting to see if you continued with this / made a similar game in the future. :)
The art and atmosphere here is really lovely, I love the way the game screen blends into the itch page background. Overall the game has a very cozy and calm feeling, and the nurturing section at the start is by far my favorite aspect, it's so sweet and cute! It's a little unclear the direction of the game though, the mechanics all seem interesting (and I like the flight minigame) but it's hard to tell what's possible to interact with, and once you start being able to click to move the pigeon the button interaction doesn't quite work the same. More clear UI to show what is and isn't available could make a huge difference. Like if the "egg" option isn't available, have it greyed out and un-selectable, or a negative sound when you try and interact. Button feedback in general is very helpful from a player perspective. The contrast on the full/empty hearts could be a bit clearer too -- I didn't notice the difference for a while since it was so subtle.
The polish and art here is top tier, the art is beautiful and the UI ties perfectly into the immersion. The opening cutscene is wonderfully done, and what a fantastic use of the color palette overall. I couldn't get the bait to work (was clicking on it not the way to interact?) but it could totally be a browser thing. I loove a good collection game, and the beautiful fish art is a huge part of what makes that so satisfying. :D
This is so cozy and cute!! It's very satisfying to place things around, and the sound design is done really nicely. If you revisited this I think it would be so cool to see unlockable plants, or maybe you place the seeds in and then after you hit "grow" they all turn into their fully grown pieces. The animated leaf is so cute, I wish there were more of them! :D Overall really nicely polished and neat, and totally has potential to be expanded on.
Music is awesome, controls are satisfying and sharp, and overall I found this to be a really snappy fun game. :D There's a lot of stuff going on screen which is definitely fun but it's really hard to tell what's good stuff and bad stuff! Like i'm still not too sure if the cocoons are like hearts or bombs...? So definitely some more visual hints and sound effects to reinforce what is hurting and helping you would be good. And I'm not sure if I'm supposed to avoid the vertical fire lines or if they're just decorative. It just needs a biiit more clarity, but I definitely had fun playing it!
The art is really cute! And the interactions and achievements are so sweet. You should include on your page that you can interact with things by clicking on them with the left mouse button! I had no idea if the interact was a F or E, and I just had to try things out since it's not listed anywhere. That would help people know how to try and find achievements :)
This has so many satisfying elements too it! Every thing comes together to make it a very fun and enjoyable game. Cute customizable wearable items are a FANTASTIC motivator to spend currency on, the sound design makes everything feel very satisfying, and nailing those perfect timed hits feels really addictive. Not to mention a collectables section -- it's really fun to unlock all the different flowers. A lot of people when jamming make a complicated game, and then don't leave enough time to make a tutorial to explain things, so I have a lot of admiration for a well-done tutorial on a jam. Super cozy game!! :D
The scenery and atmosphere are all super lovely, it makes it feel very polished. And that cover art is just amazing! The music is beautiful, and the movements are super crisp, it's really satisfying to jump around the space. The camera panning between scenes can be a bit difficult during the platforming, it's hard to keep my momentum when the camera is moving while I'm trying to make platforms. The Z key being the spin is very difficult to hit right after jumps, I think remapping that button would make the game feel a lot smoother to play. The explanations at the start are really helpful, I love the way each interaction is broken down, and I wish those would have stayed up to the bucket and cloud section, since I was definitely feeling a bit lost there. Overall I think it just needs a bit more playtesting and polishing on the level design -- there's some really satisfying pieces here, you just need to make some tweaks so the game has better flow (the bucket could be at a farther jump distance, so you didn't have to awkwardly back up to try and make such a narrow platform). I like the challenges, I think they're exciting to get right, you just need to ease the player into it a bit more before introducing spikes, buckets, and clouds all at once without a checkpoint in between them.
Just an absolutely beautiful game. The story is wonderfully written, the view of the hatchery and flying butterflies above is so cozy, and it's just overall super cute!! I love the witch narrative here too. I was getting a bit of a harsh audio glitch unfortunately, but the song is really beautiful!! I would double check that the audio settings work though too haha. Congrats on a really well made game :)
Thank you so much for the feedback! I really appreciate it, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :) Making the platforming intuitive was a big concern of ours, so it's definitely good to know when it's too much of a challenge! I'd love to come back to this and find a way to give it more flow, I think that would really help the movement feel natural. Thank you again!!
The music is a BANGER. the way it layers on top of each other every time you play? soooo cool. The bug customization is really cute, and the item collection is very satisfying! One critique I'd have is that the basic ground texture could be a bit more interesting, obviously you want the items to be visible, but light grass/dirt texture or some varying shades of green would be nice. And then maybe some obstacles like pools of water would be interesting to navigate.
I like the option for upgrades, and the management of 2 different kinds of honey! The music was lovely, and collecting the honey at the right time was satisfying (I like the chime indicator sound, that's helpful). Having the beehives in the center of all the flowers could be nice to have, though I understand having the flowers placed farther as a challenge to get to in time.
The polished visuals and map are really lovely, wonderful use of the color palette! The gameplay loop could be a bit more balanced, I do think it has some great potential, but from a player perspective, I don't know what my main goals are. The rocks chipping at the scythe are an interesting obstacle, and the map is lovely. I wanted to try filling the farther haystack but I'm not sure what the benefit of going to that one would be, especially since it's so far from the grindstone. Finding a way to motivate the player to explore the map more would be really interesting (other than the hats -- which I love!) Like if you could feed the hay to pens of animals, and increase their happiness levels, something to give a function to the hay and encourage some more movement would be awesome.
Introducing complex mechanics and systems like this in a simple and manageable way is a feat of it's own -- well done creating a whole beehive (that you clearly did your research on! This puts the Bee Movie to shame) that only takes a few minutes to learn how to navigate. The visuals are simple yet polished (and very cute!) and it's very well balanced. I got stuck the first round I played, and had to plan a bit better the second time, I like that you have to have a bit of a strategy going into it!
Really creative approach and interesting game! The fishing mechanic is fun, and I like the upgrades shop but I think making the bait options a bit easier to get would be nice, getting the same fish gets a little repetitive! It's satisfying finding new fish and finding an efficient strategy to catching them. Some more visual feedback in the fishing mini-game would be nice, I'd love some clearer indicators that the fish are getting "hurt" (the audio clues are fantastic, the pitch increases is a clever way to show you're getting closer), but visual clues would really sell it. Having the theme be centered around making shapes with your mouse on the screen is really nice, whether that's the transitions or game itself. Which btw, the transitions are awesome, that's such a genius minigame to include.
I am absolutely obsessed with this artwork!! What an adorable style and such cute characters, I love it. Took me a second to get the controls but honestly after that it's pretty intuitive! It's fun, and just the right amount of variability to keep it fresh. Honestly I didn't encounter any glaring bugs or issues, except that after I play plinko, the grab mechanic stops working (even after trying to click on the espresso cup). The plinko is a fun concept, but could use some UI to show if you win or lose, because it's a bit unclear since the money counter isn't always visible. Overall, loved it a bunch :]
