This game was just incredible. Everything felt so polished and really looked after very carefully. I would definitely play this if it was a full game. The moment I realized that the sound going downstairs was different to the normal walking was *chef kiss*, those details make the game really standout.
5/5 in every aspect, really well done!

This was beyond impressive. I actually jumped when I heard the can dropped and felt even more scared on my second playthrough and seeing the cat tweak out! This is a really really solid horror game it had subliminal backroom vibes and the cat speaking was incredibly unexpected! The mini puzzles too! The need to look around the environment was perfectly instilled as I couldn't help but make sure I look through every crevice! I did experience one bug after my first playthrough in receiving the bad ending when walking out and answer to the cat at the door was my screen being stuck on the credits page with no way to restart or go back to the main menu or quit the game! Additionally, I have two comments on the gameplay! I think a sensitivity component would be perfect for the player to adjust as it required a lot just to turn around which was a bit annoying! Also when it came to the maze, it was incredibly dark and made it really difficult to see where there were openings in the ground that you had to jump over! This remained an issue even when I went back increasing my computer's brightness! Besides those two critiques this game was incredibly fun! You guys did a great job in making a very authentic cosmetic horror take on parasitism! I couldn't help but apply the concept to the actual known cat parasite, Toxoplasma gondii! Also really enjoyed the design choice of when you enter the dreamscape the world is mirrored! Great entry really enjoyable mini horror experience!!

Incredible atmosphere. The sound design, the ticking clock- just immaculate. I did hit an issue when interacting with the grandfather clock where I got stuck in place and had to reset the game, but other than that I really enjoyed playing this!

A really really good game! Reminds me alot of a game I love called "lost in Vivo". Even small things like the wind sound effect at the window shows you put in a lot of effort into this game and it definitely payed out. Super well done on this one!

A criminally underrated game of this jam, a few issues I would have with the game is that it feels quite directionless at times, and some of the bad endings feel more unfair than scary, otherwise there's a lot to do in this game and a lot to see. One bug I noticed is once you get the credits it doesn't send you back to the main menu so you have to full restart the game. Otherwise really well done!

This is well done and polished. Definitely one of the strongest entries in this jam!

The inventory is like in the old Resident Evil games. I LIKE IT! I tried to feed the lady with a screwdriver and the sound scared me, I'm an idiot. I miss the sound effects when the cat starts talking. It would be cool if he spoke with voiceover, like in Mandela's catalog or something. I beat the game on the bad ending, and the final jumpscare could have been scarier. Why is there a debug tool in the game archive? It's a release version. You could have put the pck file in the exe. The game turned out to be very interesting, and the quests are also quite interesting. My cat has never asked me to cut my wrists in any other game.

Glad you liked it! I put a lot of work into the inventory system, so thanks!

One of my favorites so far – just the way the cat looks at you while eating. Had a lot of fun with the game – great job :)

This was actually such a cool take. I took my time playing because I wanted to interact with stuff. I think having random items that you can interact with (like turning on the ceiling fan) makes a game just that bit more fun and immersive, because you want to mess with things. It also makes you wonder what items matter - like I picked up the sleeping pills way before needing them, but they ended up being useful. Also the neighbor, uh, hole, was great, lol.

Thank you for the kind words! One of the things we were most focused on was making the world feel alive, so I'm glad it payed off! Thanks for playing!!! :)
