really liked the setting & monster design! the loop is interesting and the lack of movement actually goes pretty well with the narrative. enjoyed this & looking forward to more!
A Well Made Game :). The Visuals And Sound Are Very Engaging, And The Monster's Constant Approach Does Wonders For Adding A Sense Of Tension To The Overall Feeling Of The Game. The Gameplay Was Interesting, I Enjoyed The Groundhog Day Style Of Learning More Every Cycle Even While The Cycles Changed. I Would Have Liked To See A Bit More Structure To The Gameplay, As I Was Able To Complete The Ritual Almost By Accident. With Some More To Engage With, This Style Of Game Has A Lot Of Potential. I Would Also Advise Not Linking The Jumpscare To The Progress Of The Game, The Monster Becomes Less Scary When You Are Waiting For It To Attack You So You Can Get To The Next Cycle.
Impressive visuals~ I never thought I needed it but the pairing of drawn and pixelation with the right shader works really well with how you've presented it. The game has a vibe, I love your artistic direction and the movement choice allows you time to appreciate it. Inspiring, thank you!
this is game is very cool i think the monster aproaching is a realy cool addition and the animation of it was also realy cool liked the style no complaints
This game was really cool, having multiple endings and being in a sort of time loop with every failed run giving you more information to defeat the monster
This game is really unique and the art style is really something to marvel at and somehow being able to incorporate bare-bones frame animation into this as well makes for a really really cool aesthetic combination. I also really like the idea of rather than having a traditional WASD movement system, this game is 3D point and click which I think was the right choice since this game definitely benefits from it but also makes it more unique. the goat demon thing actually got me pretty good the first time as well as I was not expecting that in the slightest. from just your art alone I can see you doing amazing things, absolute gem of a jam game and great work!
Really unique game! I got confused on what to do first, but once I died, the game started to make sense, so I just kept dying repeatly until I somehow got the 3rd ending. Also, great aesthetic and sound design!
I liked the 'Groundhog day' mechanic, and the decision to limit movement was very interesting too. Also, I think the fog was very convincing, and I liked how the creature loomed through it from a distance. Overall, great job!
Like the unique look and gameplay.
I like the concept behind this game a lot! The art and visuals are very nice and so is the creepy atmosphere. The monster design is also very impressive and unsettling, especially when you see it through the fog in the distance.
Gameplay feels nice, but it is a bit confusing early on, since there's seemingly nothing else to do other than wait for the monster to get you and restart the game with newly added items. The initial jumpscare really got me, but the monster became much less scary each time I respawned, because I needed it to kill me in order to progress. I really think that the game would've greatly benefited from exploring different options for the knight to progress through death, and kept the monster as a constant threat to end the game.
The addition of multiple endings was a great choice, even though I couldn't figure out how to get the ending 2.
I had fun playing! Great work!
I couldn't figure out how to get a different ending from the first one... However, I do love the concept, and the art direction is top notch. Loved the monster design, it does look haunting!
Even though I couldn't figure it out, the visualls are really really great. They just fit together and the story is definitly interesting. The monster is truly something to be afraid of and I wish we could have seen more of it in action.
One of the games where I hope to see more of it.
Very interesting, love the way this looks and feels. A bit cryptic, but it always felt deliberate, so that was good.
Thanks for including a Linux build!
The highlight of the game is definitely the aesthetics. I found the idea of having everything happen in one place really interesting. The overall atmosphere was also creepy. What could be improved is the sense of progress. Currently, I just used the items as indicated without any idea of what was supposed to happen. Excellent work!
I am in awe with the aesthetics man! Great job :)
I couldn’t quite figure out how to progress with the story, but that jumpscare definitely got me haha. The game design is weird...but in a really good and interesting way!
A very intriguing concept. A sort of open-air die-and-retry escape game. The art direction is superb, and I really like the bittersweet and horrific atmosphere.
I haven't managed to reach the ending 2 yet, I wouldn't say no to a few hints to get me on the right track... x)
Perhaps there is a lack of feedback on our actions and the steps to follow, but that is also part of the charm of racking your brains.
That was pretty cool !
The monster thing animation is really cool! The Sound design is nice too.
Loved aesthetics and unique gameplay mechanic though I wished there was a hint in-game about it. Overall a great submission!
The art is beautiful, and the monster design looks genuinely scary. The sound effects are creepy too, which adds a lot to the atmosphere. The fact that you can see the monster right in front of you during gameplay makes everything even more intense.
I really liked the gameplay where you have to interact with the environment and figure things out. Each time you restart, you're placed in a different scenario with different interactables, which is quite interesting, it means there are different characters and setups every time you start a new game.
The sense of despair is strong, it feels truly helpless not knowing what to do while the clock is ticking and the monster slowly creeps in. The fact that you can actually see it approaching during gameplay makes it even more unsettling. Well done!
