I loved the graphics! I enjoyed shocking people for the love of the game too lol. I have like 400 hours on papers please, so uh....... (😳) i definitely liked this one! that being said i am nowhere NEAR as good at your game as i am papers please haha. sent a fair few to their wrongful deaths my first playthrough. I liked how effectively you built tension up with the knocking too . You guys did pretty good for the week you had.
A very well-developed and polished game. I liked the space-related atmosphere. Pleasant visuals and very good sound effects. Excellent work.
So polished! Really immersive experience. The voice acting really sells that, well done. I love menus and UI being integrated into the game world <3. Simple gameplay loop (very Papers Please!) but enhanced by the visuals, story, and atmosphere.
Tiniest issue was the fps camera was a lil glitchy on web.
But other than that well done, seriously!
Really well polished and executed. The design and UI are impressive and clean. The voice lines add a strong sense of realism, and the choice to let the crew in creates real tension that makes you second-guess every decision. The door knock perfectly builds that fear of what might happen next. Excellent work to the whole team for creating such an immersive experience within just a week.
Super solid execution here. Papers please in space? Yes, please! My only nitpick is that navigating between the stations was a little cumbersome. Otherwise this was a really memorable experience. Nice work y'all!
Dang I thought we had the best main menu, but you might have us beat. Great job on the atmosphere and art especially. I love the space theme. I'd like to see a bit easier navigation between all the stations, but that's a small nitpick. Great job overall!
Thank you for playing our game! I saw some crazy UI being made in Discord, so I thought I would step it up for ours as well.
Fun spin on the anomaly-detection style of games I feel. There was some beginning hassle for me from the overwhelm of information and complexity, but as I sat down and just looked around I figured it out pretty quick. Finished successfully(?) my first run, which was easier than I expected, but then again I'm not sure if I accidentally sent someone to their doom because they were breathing wrong, but to that I say: Whoops. Regardless, I had fun time, I really liked the vibe and sound design was very good. Great work on this.
I'd glad you were able to figure it out and complete the game! If you wrongfully terminated a non-infected scientist you would have gotten an alternate loss screen in the end with the amount of incorrect terminations listed. So it seems you correctly identified each day, good job!
Great idea for a game! I absolutely love space themed games. I did however think the game would have been better off without loud music by default, instead focusing on sounds coming from inside the room and externally.
Pretty original idea with a neat execution.
Super cool game! It might be a little similar to the Paper's Please like, but it's really well executed for only one week, it's really really impressive to see! It wasn't clear at first on what are the value to check, the sticky notes were not really visible. But awsome work! the art style is so great, especially the mix of 2D and 3D. You guys can be really proud!
I enjoyed it quite a lot. The vibe and art style really just work together, very well done to you all! :)
The sound design on this was absolutely peak. It took me a little to figure out exactly how to play, but that's just a skill issue on my end. the tutorial covered it very clearly. The door opening and you having to wait that moment is very tense. Good game!
This is an excellent project, I enjoyed playing it. I admit I spent more time on your project than I had originally planned. Well done!
what an amazing overall aesthetic — honestly amazed y'all managed to pull that off within a single week. huge congrats to the team!
This is very cool! Really like the art and the space concept for this genre of game ^^
Fun game! I played several times.
Some minor critiques:
Dialogue shows up a bit slow at the start/intro. Would be nice to skip ahead.
The loading time after plugging in an ID card could be shorter, it feels weird to artificially have to wait for it.
Great game, everyone! It's a bit hard for me to rate this game given the fact that we both made very similar style "Papers, Please" esc games, but I think we both went about it in different ways. I enjoy the usage of the space aesthetic to really nail the inspection process. Having the game be based around whether or not you accept people onto your base is pretty cool since you have to personally greet them. However, I did find it a bit confusing in regards to what details I should prioritize over others. Overall good stuff, especially for being made in a single week!
Thanks for streaming our game!
We had to condense the tutorial to the dialogue to meet with the deadline so our game is definitely confusing with all of its parts.
based off the stream. The main thing is looking at the back left monitor and trying to match the names on the loaded ID card. Then find any abnormalities that haven't already been logged on the Id card
Phenomenal style and presentation, would love to play this as a full game
Really well done investigation game, had a real fun blast with it
