It plays well with a controller. I think the intention is that if you dash and glide you go further but not sure. I liked that I could quickly get back to the place i fell off by just jumping off the spawn area. Really would recommend having audio adjustment options, looks like you had some music but I couldn't hear it and I ain't going into my sound settings for it. Overall great job!!
I wasn't able to get any of the boxes across. The low jump when carrying a box is very punishing and it's hard to throw accurately.
Great work on your first 3d project. the first time I did 3d, mine looked a lot worse than yours and I took a month on it. 3d is addicting tho! good job, keep making games!!

The diving / surfacing transitions are handled the way they are mechanically because in the timeframe of a game jam, I thought this would be the easiest and quickest way to implement it. Maybe I'm mistaken but it's my first time implementing such a transition, so I was trying to narrow the scope in order to go as fast as possible so we could start playtesting early.
Originally you couldn't walk up stairs to get on land so you had to use a ladder, but that limited level design, so we refactored so you could walk up stairs or ramps to get out of the water. So we spent extra time to pivot there in order to enable better level design!
