It started off as a simple counting game, then I went "WTF!" when the player took out a gun and started shooting at whatever the player was seeing. O_O
I knew even before the game title showed up that I'd love this
This is such a unique idea executed in such a perfect way. Aesthetics and audio were really really good. The dialogues tell the story very well. When the look-around is introduced, the atmosphere evolves into something really overwhelming and creepy, it portrays really well what you were trying to make the player feel and understand (and you did).
Really creative, loved everything about it, love the style in all aspects of it, inmediate follow and so excited to see what you create next! Amazing job
As far as I understand, we seem to be following a mom who isn’t really herself at the moment and spends her day in a room counting the people outside. When we refer to a boy who isn’t our son, he likely is our son, but maybe we suffer from some level of dementia or another mental health issue. The gameplay loop of counting people is almost meditative at first, but it becomes much darker as the game goes on, and I think this is a really great game.
It’s very dark. I think it shows the mind of someone suffering from mental issues quite well. The meditative counting becomes almost a sensory overload, which I think is a good way to show someone’s mental state slipping further out of control. It’s a super creative idea, and I think this is one of those games that people would love playing. I’m surprised it isn’t even more popular. The aesthetic is also very unique. It’s amazing you made all this in one week for this jam.
it got really dark after a few rounds of counting, made it to the end where I just stared at a screen of time with holy music playing in the background. Wasn't sure if that was the end but it looked like it.
The sound design is amazing in this one.
Now that was a wtf ending! The counting mechanic felt quite meditative, then when you introduced the rest of the room it was such a surprise. I loooved the food between days, it was so funny, and the whole vibe is really creepy and unsettling. A banger as usual, I could say more but you get the idea :D
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE ONE SO FAR
It's perfect. The sound design, the visuals, the story, everything is on point. It's short and sweet, the gameplay is engaging enough, the monologue and dialogue are written well, the concept behind it is terrifying... absolute banger.
Nah this one gotta be one of the best ones for real, got a crash in the third level tho. But I pissed myself after shooting the person and resuming the level, awesome aesthetics, concept and sound design.
Aesthetics are pretty good reminds me of that recent No, I'm Not Human game.
I had so much fun, I was cackling at the absurd humor and everything... And the cans! I want them as stickers, ngl. Always happy to see your work.
Who would have thought counting would be so hard when I'm murdering.
Very polished and clean experience through and through. Also super strong aesthetic. Love it.
I'm not a fan of horror, but it still feels like this is an absolute gem! The sound, the story, music, aesthetic. They're just PEAK!
