I like the story and music. Very touching.

It's really well done how you were able to tell such a compelling story with such simple mechanics! The jump back to the platformer style as the man was reminiscing was absolutely perfect. Well done!

This is a great game! Very compelling, great story telling, great music, gameplay and art minimalistic which was actually great for it all. I even got sad at the end. I love it! I will remember this game and draw inspiration from it.

For improvements; AI in the enemies would be great, Art although great in minimalistic can always be improved. Any way to exit the end screen for replayability would also be appreciated.

I like the music for this game quite a bit it as it fit the whole nostalgic theme. The art initially seemed simple and  good but in the top down section in felt kinda dark and blurry.  Please take the rest of the feedback as you will, my perspective may be the minority but if it helps for future projects than good.

For future reference or if you are going to continue this project, I found that the character to be painfully slow. I get what your trying to achieve with the pace however especially for the  top down shooting section, I normally stop in one area moving the bare minimum to get rid of all the enemies and the found my self feeling removed from the story as my character just walked really slowly with no danger.

Thank you for this comment! I find critique much more important and useful than compliments.

It is very minimalist and intimate, the piano was a very well chosen choice for the soundtrack. The simplicity made the game unique and memorable. My only addendum is that I got stuck in a part where the machines that shoot projectiles blocked the exit and then I couldn't move on to the next phase, even so I really liked what I played.

Normally I don’t comment on games, but wow, not at all what i was expecting. The story was very intriguing and felt very real, and the piano piece just tied it all together.

good job!

You did great on the music, good job.

Great narrative and beautiful music, very emotional. Art and gameplay a bit on weaker side but they were not the point of the game. Great atmosphere and script. Give a nice a bit sad  nostalgic felling.

Great work.

A great storyline. A perfect music for it.
The graphics could be better. Despite simple shapes, you can always build something effective out of them.

Music was very compatable with the story. You could have made the game better for the given time, for example art. But overall very good.

The audio fit very well with the story telling of this game! The transitions between the two genres was also very good too! Overall, I really enjoyed playing!

I enjoyed this game a lot. It's amazing how you can communicate these emotions with a game so simple as this one.
Also, great choice of music!

I liked the way the story was told and the two different genres. My one improvement would be some enemy AI, I found it was to easy to kill the enemies. Still a fun game!
