Never played a visual-novel, don't know if there's always a narrator, but i liked it (maybe another font when he talks would give him more personality). The transition between the genres is good too. Don't know if it's my pc but didn't hear any music, a peace one would keep the focus of the player I think (or sound effect like rain...). Good work, beginning-twist-end in 72h.
Having another font for the narrator is a great idea, I'll keep it in mind! As for music, I couldn't get a suitable track for the main parts of the game, so there's only music in the title screen. Next time for sure though. Thanks for playing!
I am not gonna, i haven't read the first part. I have trouble reading dialog and starts pressing all buttons for skip. I like the game style. that reminds me of the old days RPG. So fun to play. And the art Style is amazing. very well done.

The two genres are distinct. However, is there any way to win with the shadow, so to speak win the game?
Right now there's no way to win against the shadow (i.e. kill it), all you can do is survive it. Thanks for playing! I hope you liked it! ^^
