I had a lot of fun with this. Keeping to 64px wide was a challenge!

Very cool short game :) Music and gameplay have a nice Zelda vibe  and it feels smooth. Cool use of theme, it feels cute to be followed by these small pets. I wish it was a little harder/longer !

Short and simple but I like the little touches with the animals following you and the wizard telling you how many more creatures you had to free. I wish you could die from the enemies though but still a short but complete game.

Super lovely representation for the inspiration behind it. The game was fun, founding the elephant took way more time then expected, but finally got there.

Only criticism is the audio level at start, is it WAAY to loud, please next time, double check that. Thanks. Other than that, cool entry,

That was a fun little game :) The sprites were readable, the enemies only being knocked-out made backtracking not boring. I did not have audio on Firefox, but it worked fine on Chrome, so that’s okay. Good job overall!

Wow, this really feels retro. I liked the pixel style, the music, and how the animals follow you in a chain. I also thought it was nice that only you were attacked and not the animals caught in the crossfire. It would have been interesting to have different sized paths between the stages, as well as animals of different sizes, which would have forced you to find a specific path to free them all. It would be fun if an animal was so small that it only looked like 1 pixel, ha ha ha. I also appreciate that there was no dynamic where, if you took damage, the chain of animals would break and force you to search for them again among all the scenarios. Good job. I came looking for copper and found gold.

Yay, I saved the animals! This was short but sweet. :)

I like how you further reduced the resolution from the maximum allowed 64x64 down to 64x36 for a 16:9 wide screen experience. I also like the Atari vibes. This was quite pleasant to play, great work! :)

I love how the animals follow you around. Also super catchy music I was bopping my head the whole time. Nice job!

I really enjoyed the game, and the idea of releasing the animals from the cages was really cool!

Definitely has Atari-vibes. Not too challenging, but a nice little distraction and fun in its own right.

What a charming little game! I love the vibe; between the chiptune music and the super chunky pixels it feels like an Atari game!

This was a great submission! The gameplay was simple and fast, and it captured that retro charm I really enjoy. Going smaller that 64x64 definitely worked well for the vibes. As a jam game, it did it's job of being small and manageable, but if it were to be expanded, more variety and complexity would be appreciated. The enemies are pretty easy to dodge and didn't add much in the end

A fun little adventure! With the maze and keys, it reminded me of Adventure on Atari. And an interesting resolution, 64x36.

It's always cool to free animals locked in cages. Free them all.

The art is super cute and the player controller feels very smooth!

The game is a bit on the easy side. The enemies don't really get in the way. I wanted to be able to shoot up and down at first, but the enemies didn't feel like an obstacle. The game felt like a maze and a short one at that.  I would have played for much longer if there was more game there. It could have used more obstacles and enemy types.

The sprites were great! I loved how the animals followed you. Picking up one key at a time was nostalgic and felt good. Overall great use of color! I also enjoyed the music and sfx. The speedy movement felt good.  Really awesome job!

This game was absolutely adorable, I loved having the animals following me. The music was fantastic too!

It was really fun, I had to release them all. The music is very appropriate. The size of your game’s build is once again awe-inspiring. By the way, my game is also about opening, or rather breaking cages. It looks like “liberate” is the most popular theme this time.

I have certain question, like why am I a witch, and certain animals I'm not sure what they are, since they are all pixelly blobs.

I didn't play until the end, just long enough to get the idea.

All the stars.

This game has a really cute 8-bit vibe to it! The gameplay is simple but fun, the music and SFX are catchy and the maze-like level design made me struggle a bit (in a good way) to find all the keys haha
