Lol we got the theme

I vote for this

The approach I use really isn't anything special, I generate a path by following the tiles, and the enemies move along that path over time

There's still plenty of time and space to add special items!

This was a great submission! The gameplay was simple and fast, and it captured that retro charm I really enjoy. Going smaller that 64x64 definitely worked well for the vibes. As a jam game, it did it's job of being small and manageable, but if it were to be expanded, more variety and complexity would be appreciated. The enemies are pretty easy to dodge and didn't add much in the end

I loved the art and premise of the game, it was very a cozy experience. I managed to get the double jump and skip the the end of the game by double tapping jump quickly next to the owl. The platforming in general felt a bit stiff, with a fast but heavy jump, and too-snappy left/right movement. If the platforming were improved, I could easily see this game in the top ten, though the graphics probably get it there already.
P.S. Stealing the carrot from the bunny was funny

The idea was simple, but still pretty interesting. The execution left a bit to be desired though, mainly in the clarity of how the information is presented. At first, the game feels too slow, but when it speeds up it becomes difficult to parse all the icons.

I'd definitely like to try an updated post-jam version, if you plan on one

Glad you've been enjoying it! Good luck with the rest ;3

Somewhat related, do you plan on making any releases for the new version you have on Github?

Lovely song, using it in an upcoming project

B)

This is great :D

Thanks for the quick reply! Downgrading/switching to beta seems a bit inconvenient, but I'll see what I can do

Added to a project (IDE v2024.13.1.193 Runtime v2024.13.1.242) and I get this compile error

`Script: lua_buffer_read at line 1 : Fatal Error while compiling - bailing details below`.  (with no bailing details below)

Occurs when added to a new project as well

You've definitely found everything there was to find! The eye is the final ability you can unlock, and there are just enough coins to purchase every ability

Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it! I started late on the jam, and it really took me about four days (late submission), but I'm really happy with what I managed to create :3

Nothing yet :)

Stay tuned :3

There's definitely more that I want to add!

That's good feedback, I considered adding some effects for that, but I never got around to it

The final room is temple is just a berry!

I like the polish, throwing weapons is a fun feature, and it's nice to try running down avoiding all the enemies :3

Chickens would NEVER cross the road

Thanks! You're not the only person who's mentioned that to me, unfortunately. I'll definitely address that if I update the game :)

Fun, silly game! Impressive for the short development time, good job!

Very fun game! Good job :D

That's great :D
There aren't many I'm thinking of, mainly ctrl+shift+s for save as
A few combos to edit the arrangement, like alt+click to place a section rather than dragging it. Not many off the top of my head though.

Are there plans for adding undo/redo and simple shortcuts anytime soon? It'd definitely make this worth using for me. Other than that this is a great project!

This is really impressive! And pretty useful too! Definitely see myself using this in future projects, nice work :)

A very fun tool! Definitely benefited from the addition of an undo function, and the visualizations are a nice touch

Nice :D

A platforming masterpiece.

It's super far back on the back burner, we'd love to get it done, but there's nothing planned for now

You found the neutral jump :V

Projects have been coming and going. It's definitely gonna get done, but rn it's not a main priority

Just did :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do like to polish things a lot given the chance lol.

I'm really sorry to hear that! It isn't a sure fix, but have you tried to downloading and running the files? If that doesn't work, you could always try to play it on your cell phone and play it that way.

Yeah, a lot of people managed to get stuck there, sorry. I'll be making a fix next time I get to work on the game. I'm glad you enjoyed it otherwise though!

I'm glad you enjoyed the art, I was really trying to go for a retro style, so I'm glad that paid off!
