I love participating at the Low Rez Jam... it's a great jam with super cool people. Plus it falls during the holidays so I can craft the game a little bit every day. And now I can't wait to try as many games from the jam as possible. Thanks for that.

Really fun and imo has great pacing and difficulty! And I've never seen a worm with such a big heart before
Simple yet fun concept. I especially liked how the final part stood out from the rest. And the music fits the worm-heartbreak story perfectly. :,)
Fun game and concept, unfortunately the screen shake gave me a headache so I wasn't able to complete it. Feel like I would enjoy an easy mode with a longer timer as well, so I could play it more relaxed. But overall a cool game!
Was not expecting to being playing worm breakup simulator today! What a humorous theme for a game. I wish there was a screenshake toggle as it was a little too much for my tastes given the action-heavy platforming gameplay. The mechanics are fun and levels feel frantic to play through, the gameplay is very engaging!
This was certainly an experience. I don't think I've ever seen anything close for a protagonist in a video game. Unless we count Earthworm Jim :) Feels like a complete experience, I like the intro cutscene and transition screens between stages.
Overall it's a fun concept, I like how short the death/restart loop is, the game isn't too punishing and makes you keep progressing forward. The difficulty balance could be better. The first level with lava is surprisingly difficult, whereas most ghost levels are easy. I didn't even fight the ghosts or try to avoid them because they inflict so little damage you can just take the hit and keep collecting the hearts.
The mechanics were simple but engaging, and there is a surprising amount of content. Very nice job :)
I love the pace and the overall cute weirdness! Might have been too easy though? Initially I was dodging the hazards because it seemed the right thing to do, but there really wasn’t much penalty for dancing with a ghost or playing in the fires.
This is one great little game ! Had good fun but dam ok I'm too slow for some of these levels - very well done !
I love the pace, really clever use of one screen levels. I found difficulty a bit all over the place but maybe this is just me failing hard on some levels. But it doesn't matter much, I liked the atmosphere, colors. A very nice entry !
Overall the game idea is funny and the mechanics themself are interesting and lead to cool routing puzzles. My problem here is the excessive use of screenshaking which made me motion sick, and the fact that the “flying” mechanic gives off exactly the same color of a puff to not see if you missed a heart or not. Dithering them, or just using the darker gray could be a nice solutin for that.
Graphically and sound wise everything else is solid here, so well done!
I love the humour in your games, and this is just so addictive to play!
Cool minigame collection you got here! The competitive aspect and fast paced advancement reminds of Dumb ways to die. Good job!
This was a so much fun! I wanted to play a few levels, and I wound up playing the entire game!! I loved the expressiveness of the worm animations, and the frantic bite-sized execution challenges.
I loved your game, for me it's one of the best in this edition of the JAM. I loved the gameplay of the 50 levels, the incredible final level, and I appreciate the slow time bar in that one. My admiration, I guess even with the game's small screen, designing the levels must have been quite a challenge. Just incredible. I would have liked to include a similar number of levels in my game, but time didn't allow it. I see you used PICO-8. If you can, please make a remake of the game in VOXATRON. Great job, friend
Thank you for your very kind comment. It's true that once I was satisfied with the worm's movements and the gamefeel I spent a lot of time making the levels and adapting the life/time bar... and I've never tried VOXATRON but I would love to get into PICOTRON if I find the courage to start. And also I can't try your game because I don't have a Windows PC at home, would you be able to make a web version? that would be cool
Really emotional and relatable cutscene !
Some levels felt much easier than they should have been, others felt a little un inspired, but I was glad there were so many. The last level was the most interesting, and I wish the whole game was more like that. Sometimes the worm's collider felt too big when trying to fall from bricks, but also felt too small when trying to collect hearts. Would have loved to see another cutscene at the end. The enemies and obstacles didn't feel punishing enough. Over all I wish there was more of a challenge, but I did have fun.
Cool mechanics! I liked flapping and shooting as a worm! Awesome job!
Thanks for your feedback, actually the initial idea is really to make micro levels that last a few seconds I thought it was related to the small resolution. For the last level I didn't want a boss and I was looking for something a little different that wouldn't take me too much time to develop and there you go... thanks again. For the challenge I'm still torn because I also like more difficult platform games but it's important that on a jam everyone can play it a little... what I would like is to make additional more difficult levels but there I lacked time and space to do it serenely. Same thing for the end cinematic... as I didn't have much space left I chose to make an end screen.
