the game has his own style it seems you inspiration from rain world the animation were amazing and the monsters terrifying. very awsome game
Thank you! I really preciatcha!
the procedurally generated animation on the creatures and snake looks so good! and I love the overall details on all the moving animations of the nature too! I enjoyed getting bigger and bigger! this was a wonderful experience!
congrats on your submission!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing!
Very interesting idea and the ‘wobbly’ physics seem well polished. But as others already mentioned getting back to the tree can be very difficult. Also at some point during the night the game lagged really bad and I had to start all over again. Overall, good job!
Thanks for playing! Yeah I was being dumb and forgot to despawn the blood particles. If you try the patched version over on my profile that's fixed.
The artwork in this is really impressive! I was really bad at the controls and couldn't get back to the tree after eating the nearest bunnies and falling in a hole, unfortunately. If the terrain was generated more horizontally, I think that it would be a lot easier to navigate and there would be lower odds of trapping yourself.
Working on that right now! Thank you for playing!
The night creature is absolute nightmare fuel
I would always die in the game after the 3rd day because it got so hard to navigate back to the starting tree; but the physics for the movement of the character were kind of fun to learn.
In one run all the rabbits stopped animating and then I couldn't eat them any more, which might have been a soft lock?
Thanks for playing!
I was really surprised at how good this game was and how much fun it was! I think you did an excellent job at setting a tone and atmosphere while creating a fun gameplay loop. Great work!
Thank you so much! Preciatcha!
I like the animations and concept. However, it is difficult to get back up to the tree once you leave the starting area.
Thank you for playing! The patched version is a little easier.
I love the artwork and the movement feels very smooth. I did have a really hard time getting back to the tree, so maybe having the terrain generate in a smaller area would make it better. I loved parkouring around with the snake's unique movement though.
So glad you enjoyed it and thank you for your feedback! Yes it's a little easier to get around in the updated version.
Just curious if you are procedurally animating and generating the looped terrain. thats just amazing btw. I liked the premise though. Very mysterious and survivalist.
Yes it's all procedural. Terrain, grass, tree, even the ducks and clouds in the background. Thank you so much for playing!
very fun and addicting game love the simplicity of the enviroment especially the night fiirre
Thanks for playing!
The graphics are really polished looking, the way the clouds and plants move looks very natural. The player controls are also neat!
Thank you so much! Preciatcha!
The Night Creature is terrifying, great work. Just similar enough to a spider to be very unsettling
Perfect! Thank you!
The monster that appears at night really caught me off guard the first time. Love how creepy it's movements were.
I was surprised at how big the level was when I moved lower and suddenly couldn't find my way back to the tree.
Really enjoyed the main gameplay loop and think I would have preferred if I couldn't get too far away from the tree hollow.
Really nice art on the animals too.
Congratulations! You are the constitutor of my 100th rating! You will receive a free steam key when the game is finally finished! And your name will be in the honorary "Thank you:" section of the credits!
I'm so happy that you played my game, and enjoyed it! Thank you so much! Thank you most of all for your valuable feedback!
May we, together, make it to the top 100!!! Good luck brother!
Woo-hoo!
Thank you for making such a fun game!
Thank you for playing!
This is really cool. I really liked the snake's movement, and the way I was kind of able to maneuver around the terrain.
Thank you! So glad you liked it! Means a lot!
Great atmosphere and the artwork its amazing!! I love that you used procedural animation, it gives it more life and unpredictability!
Ohhh and also the change when the night comes, didn't expect that! It's awesome!
Thank you! Yes it's a canvas modulator.
Thanks a million for playing!
Was the level procedurally generated? I couldn't seem to get back to the tree once I'd gone too far down. Really enjoyed, though. Creative, cool to play as a hungry snake, and the horror element with the monstrous spider-thing appearing at night.
Either way, really great take on the theme, love it when people have unique ideas like this. Great job!
Thanks for playing! Yes it's procedural. I'm beginning to think that was a mistake. I'll probably not do it that way if I remake the game.
Great Entry! The art is very nice, the snake changing size is cool and the night time is very spooky... I think maybe there should still be a way back up if you fall down too far, maybe like further to the side so it takes longer. But the player controls are nice, like the jumping/wall climbing. Don't know if it was a bug , but it's missing some sounds to make it complete. Other than that, nice work!
Thank you for playing! Means a lot!
that nighttime enemy design freaked me out the first time i saw it. the artwork was super cool! the procedural animation was really unique, and the snake's movement was awesome. i love how much polish was put on the visuals. a point of critique is that it felt frustrating falling off of islands and not being able to get back up, especially early in the game. maybe there could be hanging vines that you could use to climb back home with? nice work!
Oh! Vines Is something I had thought of and forgotten about! That's a great idea!
Thank you for playing it!
Creative concept and charming art. Enjoyed the snake movement and fluidity moving and climbing around. Good job!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
The graphics are very good, the mechanics work very well and the enemy design is very scary, good job
Thank you!!
