A favorite so far! Our team had a really similar idea in brainstorming (wheel + mythology) and I was really excited seeing someone go with it. Great style and unique combat mechanic.

How does your game fit the theme?
The gameworld is set on the midgard-serpent, a never-ending ouroboros-like loop. In combat they use a "looping" fortune-wheel

I like the combination of the loop and the wheel of forture (also a loop).
One connects really nicely to the story, the other to the gameplay.
This is also one of the few games where I didn't turn down the sound after a few seconds, well done!
Overall a really solid concept!
Really liked this one! I am a bit biased though, I do like picking one of three things...
The art is fantastic too, really enjoyed the whole vibe, I bet there's a ton you could build on with that wheel spinning mechanic! More wheels, more runes... It would also be cool if the enemies had their own wheel that you could see, with their different attacks and abilities on it so you had some idea what was coming next! Great marks all around from me.
If you want to try some more 1-of-3 fun we also made a roguelike, so would love if you tried it out and gave us your feedback!
Cool idea! We also thought something about Jormungander but didnt get to a proper idea, i like this take and the concept of wheel-building is really interesting
Nice idea and art style! I found that maxing out the healing and high damage runes was best. It would be cool to see more types of runes and enemies.
This game is one of the best entry I tried. As the creative guy of my team, I really loved the art direction and the UI. The atmosphere was great and it was simple to understand your mechanics. Thank you for this moment of fun. You did a great job on it!
By far the best game I’ve played in this Jam. It’s a shame that I can not give more than 5 stars per criteria.
Very creative take on the theme, well polished, and well executed. Excited to see how this concept could be expanded on and what synergies you guys could come up with.
It seems to be an iteration on a deck builder. My one critique of the game is that with deck builders, you know you'll eventually draw the card you need, or use the cards in your hand and adapt it to the situation. With this game, you can keep hitting the same unneeded rune over and over again because it doesn't go into a discard pile or something. I feel like I didn't have as much control over which rune I was hitting. Maybe it was a timing/skill issue.
One of my favourite pieces of work! I do think the game would work better with turns though, since spamclicking makes it way too easy to cheat.
It looks and feels absolutely polished. How did you manage to do it in such a short time? Very cute!
I love the art. I think one problem with the gameplay is you have blocks, but its very hard to see when an enemy is about to attack (small bar on the right side of the screen) so if you want to time a block, you have to dart your eyes between the moving wheel and the attack bar which is difficult. in addition, its never really worth it to block anyway, because you can just spend that time trying to wait for the enemy to attack by spamming the stop button and attacking. I think the concept is very interesting, the roguelike element is well executed, and I look forward to seeing what you do with it in the future.
A lot of thought and passion went into this submission. It grabs your attention from the get-go. Everything from art to sound and game feel is well-polished. It basically hits all the marks. Amazing submission 5/5.
Really great art and concepts, nice twist to the turn based combat, I would love a complete game with this combat style
