Hey - would love to see a step by step to recreate this while we wait for the full solution to be integrated with Godot, or even a rough set of steps for how to get it working.

Really want to be able to create web builds for game jams, even if it requires a little extra manual effort until Godot finish the implementation

Hey - I just went to join the discord but it looks like I left it too long and the invite expired. Would you be able to send me a new one?

The Best Of The "I See What You Did There" Meme

Very clever idea for the jam, loved the animation of the pawns, the felt satisfying to move around.

My only feedback would be that it would be nice if I didn't need to play cards to move after the round ended. It was a little time consuming getting to the shop/exit sometimes after the round was already over, but really enjoyable idea for a game.

We also created a roguelike for our jam game (we love choosing 1-of-3 things!). Would  love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try too

Very cute and cosy puzzler-roguelike.

The only piece of feedback I have is that I was expecting to be able to rotate the pieces, and it would give the player tons more control over their loops if they could. Really enjoyed this one.

I'm also a big fan of roguelikes (we love choosing 1-of-3 things), so we created a deckbuilder for our jam game. Would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try too

This is a great spin on the Survivors mechanics, I love all these music/beat based games for this jam theme.

The different cassettes are a really cool idea for spells, and the music for the whole thing fit so well together! My only feedback is that it would be nice if there was some kind of health pickups, though it's probably short enough that it doesn't need it right now. Honestly I just wanted more...

We're also big fans of choosing 1-of-3 things here, so we built a deckbuilder for our jam game. Would love to hear your feedback if you wanted to try ours too!

That's an addictive game, and a fun take on the choose 1-of-3 mechanic!

There's something very satisfying about seeing more and more of those little guys zip around the track, and the scores were getting out of hand very quickly. The only feedback I have is that I didn't understand there was a boss coming the first time, and didn't understand where that big monster car came from! XD

I'm always a big fan of these kinds of game, we love choosing 1-of-3 things! We made a deckbuilder for our jam game, so would love to hear your feedback if you wanted to try ours out too

Hey that's a really cool spin on the score-chaser/roguelike mechanics!

I got really unlucky in the beginning and hit two bombs in a row a couple of times before I got going properly, so my only piece of feedback for the future would be to have something to try and help the player get fully started, but maybe I'm just that unlucky! XD

I love these kinds of roguelike/deckbuilder games, and we built a deckbuilder for jam game so would love to hear your feedback if you wanted to try our game too!

Great little roguelike, and we love roguelikes here too!

The animations and the upgrade mechanics were nice, was looking forward to more of it. Only piece of feedback would be that a little sound goes a long way to game feel, so once you come back to it it'll feel much richer with some small sfx.

I made a roguelike deckbuilder for our jam game, and would love your feedback if you wanted to try it out too!

Thanks - would love to hear what you think.

And yes absolutely send me the discord link, would be happy to playtest it!

They are some fast zombles!

This is really cool! Love drum machine aesthetic for it! And really like the Balatro style score chaser mechanics for it. The music-based games for this theme have been my favourite.

If you want more of that score chasing mechanic fun we built a deck-builder for our jam game, and would love your feedback if you wanted to try it too!

Great idea for a game, and we love the choose 1-of-3 things mechanics over here.

One piece of feedback was that I didn't realise I could move the map upwards to show more stations, so a little UI hint there would be ideal, but I figured it out eventually!

And you want to try some more roguelike fun we built a deckbuilder for jam game, and would love to hear your feedback too!

Oh this a great spin on the builder mechanics, never seen a board game version of it before. I'm also a big fan of these kinds of score chaser games!

The sounds of the little tiles getting placed is very satisfying, and overall the art style is fantastic, good work. My only feedback would be that I didn't realise on my first turn that I would move upwards, I thought I was moving to the right and planning for that! XD

And if you want more choose 1-of-3 things deckbuilder fun we built a deckbuilder for our jam game, and would love your feedback if you wanted to try it too!

Ooooh I like the idea of the roguelike train-builder!

It's a fun spin on the roguelike mechanics, and nice that you added interactibility while the train is on the loop to fight off the enemies. One small piece of feedback is that at the start I didn't actually realise I could shoot them, so just needs a small tooltip to let the player know they can fight them off!

We're also big roguelike fans, and built a deckbuilder for our jam game. Would love your feedback if you want more choose 1-of-3 things fun!

It is awfully satisfying to slam that stamp up and down. Really nice sound design on it!

Oh the music in this is well curated - there's a nice combination with pretty much everything.

Main feedback is when I tried to add a casette and one was already in there I didn't realise I would lose the cassette, would be nice if it popped back onto the shelf. Good work on it!

I've been loving all the music games for this theme, this is a fun little puzzle/score builder.

The combo of score builder + music is one I hadn't seen yet, and there's a ton of scope here for adding more variety in the tracks to build it out even more!

We built our own score chaser/deckbuilder game for the jam, so would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try too

Oh I like this, alwasy a big fan of deckbuilders! It really gave me Loop Hero vibes.

I love the mechanic of being able to interact/avoid depending on the cards you have. My only feedback would be that at the beginning I didn't fully understand why I should one option or the other, or what they would do. But I figured it out after a few turns!

We also created a deckbuilder for the jam, so would love to hear your feedback if you wanted to give ours a try too!

This is a really fun incremental builder!

It's very satisfying seeing more and more of those little guys start running around hauling bags! Could really see how you can add more and more to this to build out the scope with different kinds of robots, or certain kinds of bags that have specific requirements.

And we're also big fans of choosings 1-of-3 things! We made a deckbuilder for our jam game, would love your feedback if wanted some more 1-of-3 things fun

Great puzzler for that sort of systems/programming sort of puzzle solving! Very cute art style too, good work

This a fun and cute roguelike.

I just kept hitting the carrot upgrades, but I could see how much depth you could get out of this with more veggies that offer different rewards, maybe "relics" represented by vehicles or buildings that give continuous upgrades. It's a really cool concept for a roguelike.

And we also love choosing 1-of-3 things! We made a roguelike deckbuilder for our game, would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try!

Visuals a really nice for this game, great job!

Oh this is an amazing idea for a deckbuilder. I love the band-building aspect, the scope for this could probably go as far as filling a whole orchestra if you wanted it to! And we love choosing 1-of-3 things.

My only feedback would be that initially I didn't realise I needed to use the number keys to play the instrument.

We also made a deckbuilder for the jam, so would love your feedback if you wanted to try it out too!

Really nice idea for the game. I was shockingly worried when that floaty thing grabbed the cat for the first time XD

The only thing missing for me would be a more little instruction/guidance in the beginning, as I initially wasn't to sure what I was doing.

The pixel animation is very expressive too, so good job!

Ok - you get a 5 in enjoyment/narrative just for "Bite Mark"! I love some good wordplay...

Controls felt really snappy and satisfying. My only feedback was it took a second to realise I could combine jump and dash in the second level.

We actually build our whole deckbuilder around fun lexical shenanigans, so if you wanted to give it a try would love to hear your feedback

(1 edit)

This is a cool concept for the game jam. You managed to get a lot of cards and mechanics created in a short time, well done! We didn't have time to get relics implemented for ours

My only feedback would be that it is very small and hard to read in the browser, so it probably just needs to be all scaled up a little bit.

We also created a card game/deck-builder for the jam, so would love your feedback too if you want to give it a try!

Hey this is a really cool take on the score-chaser/deck builder idea! And we love choosing 1-of-3 things here too!

My only feedback would be it would be nice to be able to control the rotation of the domino you place, so you could choose which direction it went on the end of the chain.

We also created a deckbuilder/score chaser for our game jame game, so would love your feedback too if you want to give it a try!

Very fun concept for a zachtronics style systems-game. The short video was a really good idea for explaining the core concepts. Building out the particles and getting upgrades gave it some good depth.

We also tried to go into the complex systems/interactions idea for our deckbuilder, so would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try!

Amazing, I did not know a pasta deckbuilder was what I needed from this game jam! This is a really fun concept for the jam, I could absolutely see more this having a ton of scope for more pasta types. Big spaghetti connectors was what came to mind!

Only feedback would be to make the charges/limit mechanic a bit more clear, it took a second to realise what was happening there.

We're big fans of deckbuilders and also made one for the jam, so would love your feedback if you want to give it a try!

Hey - thanks for checking out our game too!

Yeah I tried to highlight the cards that would be triggered/cause an effect, but a few people have mentioned that is was unclear, so it was obviously too subtle. It's definitely something I want to improve on after the jam.

Really appreciate the feedback!

Very fun idea for a zachtronics style programming puzzler!

Ah I loved this one! Such a great idea for a game...

My only feedback would be that I would love to be able to hear how the new instrument I'm selecting is going to sound before I place it. I found myself way more into trying to create a groove than optimising the positions for damage

I'm also a big fan of the choose 1-of-3 things games! We created a deckbuilder, so would love your feedback if you want to give it a try

Great idea for a deckbuilder! Love the puzzly nature of trying to figure out the right set of loops to beat the enemy, very interesting take on the theme.

We made a bit of a mind-bending deckbuilder too, would love your feedback if you wanted to check it out.

Fantastic game. The train loop mechanic was a great idea, forces really interesting decision making about where to place towers, and balancing the different resources.

A tooltip when hovering over the different weapons was the only thing lacking for me, to understand what it was good/weak against.

Good work!

Love the art, and the boomerangs feel fun to shoot

This really boils it down to such a simple mechanic, and it's such a fun representation of the idea.

84 seconds.

Thanks for checking it out, and really glad you enjoyed it!

This is a great spin on the Balatro idea! So much scope for building out this idea with special domino blocks, special tiles that trigger on placement, so much possibility. More choices of 1-of-3 things!

We created a deckbuilder, because we love choosing 1 of 3. Would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try!

Really nice game. Love the colour choices, that blue on the overall red was really striking.

The upgrades definitely give this one some scope for more gameplay in future. Different upgrade options, randomized choices, etc. It could really give each run a unique feel and playstyle. And we love choosing 1 of 3 things.

Agreed with others that it's a little slow at the start, but that's something that could easily be tweaked with some more playtesting.

We created a deckbuilder (so plenty of 1-of-3 things action). Would love your feedback if you wanted to give it a try.
