Kind of challenging, but fun to play. I wish it would let me loop around a planet again if I steered into it after barely missing - not sure when that was possible or not.
Pretty creative idea for the loops theme! There was definitely quite a difficulty curve getting in but overall the game was very interesting and quite fun! I think itd be great if there was some sorta trajectory line for exiting orbits or something so itd be easier to gauge where youre flying off to, but then again i guess thatd defeat the difficulty :p but anyways quite a fun game overall, nice job!
It's challenging but fun. In the second level (I think), there was a point where I couldn't tell where to go next because I couldn't see any planets. I just had to sling shot out into space and then saw that I missed the target. Not sure if that is part of the experience, but I was thinking it would be nice to zoom out or always keep the next planets in sight so you don't have to guess which way to go next.
This game is a perfect example of easy to learn, hard to master. You've got a really simple concept that is both fun and challenging. I really like your interpretation of the jam's theme.
The way the camera moves here is so so satisfying and neatly pulled off. It's really simple in concepts and mechanically, but the learning curve makes it enjoyable, and it's an incredible feeling to master navigating between the planets. There's a really good, almost professional feel to this game, and I don't think I have anything negative to say! Great work (:!!!
Really cool concept! The controls were very satisfying once I got the hang of them. I like that you can minor maneuver a little bit after launch. Makes the game just a little more forgiving in a way I like. Still suck at it though lol
Hey, that's was pretty enjoyable. not too easy, not too hard, looks and sounds cool. Good job!
Simple but solid! Good difficulty curve, took me a few attempts but got it quickly enough 😄
I really wasnt expecting so much quality from the game jam.
The gameplay loop (pun intended) is really simple but catchy, it has its learning curve and I like how mechanics like obstacles and asteroids are introduced further in the game, refreshes the gameplay.
Also de visuals are extremely good and the music fits pretty well in.
The only problem I have come across is that some planets are hard to see because they are really far away, and you can only see a few lines of their orbit, so sometimes I was lost. It may be solvable with an arrow pointing at the nearest planets you have.
But other than that, I am really surprised how good the game is!
This game feels so nice to play, being able to decide your launch power is a great touch that makes the game so much more fun. I also really like how this game sounds, it's very satisfying. Great game!
Simple and nice. It's easy to understand and get hang of it, quite relaxing and not tedious at all. Great one!
This was really easy to pick up! I liked that the mechanics were simple and straight forward. I would have liked for there to be more checkpoints throughout the game though. Instead of starting at the first planet in the area every time you died you went to the last planet you orbited. There were times where I made a lot of progress but then lost it and had to start from square one, and I ended up losing a lot of momentum from that.
I had a fun time with this. The mechanic was simple but executed well so it felt quite nice to play.
I really appreciate the smooth, polished gameplay. If you told me this was a fully released mobile game, I'd believe you! (with some predatory in-app purchases of course, gotta make money somehow) But overall I love a good space game, and the game mechanics you chose, like the thrusters and steering, pair with it very well!
It was a pretty fun game, though I did find it pretty hard! Also the art looks amazing!
as someone who's also made a space related game, this is pretty cool, i didnt get how to aim myself at first but after that it was quite enjoyable but maybe a tad repetetive
Nice take on the theme. It took a bit to get used to, but the controls were pretty good. It might be good to add an image or description of the transmission logs when you talk about them. I wasn't sure on the first orbiting things I saw, so ran into both of them wondering if that was how we got the logs. Once I saw the logs it made sense, and I do see them now in the thumbnails.
Fun game, it was fun to have to dodge floating objects in space while staying in the orbits.
Great work, I've play a few orbit slinging games in the game so far and this one was definitely the most approachable and forgiving while still being challenging.
Nice game!
The space-ship orbiting mechanic might be a bit basic in some cases so it was nice to see steering and launching with power involved in this game. Also cool lore!
