I loved the increasingly stressful mechanics of this game lol. The blinking, the wife call, the shaking of the camera when you drink coffee, overall, it integrates with the theme so well! Very enjoyable game :)

The level design here is impeccable! It was super fun to play, and everything used the main mechanic so well. Def one of the top games I've played this jam. One little detail I like is how the levels continue off of each other rather than get loaded separately. It really adds to the fast-paced feel. Also, the ability to change the difficulty is a great touch that I don't see much in jam games. This is great work!

I love the aesthetic and polish of this game! And the little platform-placing  drone was so fun to work with. Overall, great game!

Don't worry, so did we :3

What more can I say about hit game fish train in space. Masterpiece. 10/10. I loved how the whole world would shake every time as my massive badunka slammed into the ground, creating tremors of a magnitude beyond human comprehension.  Would fish train again.

Ayyy fellow space game! I loved yours, the energy and the gameplay loop was so silly and satisfying. Deciding whether to charge up an attack or go for a quick throw was really engaging too. I also had that weird freezing error at the beginning, but that seems like a known issue and its a game jam game, so it happens lol. It def wont affect my great rating! :D

omg I'm so glad you liked it! Really appreciate the feedback. We've been thinking alot about how to expand the game and what mechanics to add/remove, so I'd love to hear any thoughts people have as well.

Also, thx for sending your ship design, I love it!! Its huge lol

my pfp is like a cartoon version of yours lol

This is such an aesthetically pleasing and seamless game! I love the gameboy visuals as well, it really ties everything together. My only complaint is that i wish there were more levels to play! The portal mechanic was very interesting.

Thanks so much!! I'll be sure to check out your game as well!

WOW sick ship!! I love it!

There actually is an end goal which is briefly mentioned at the start of the game. You need to escape the asteroid belt that surrounds the planet! if you make it through, you'll get the win screen.

I'll be sure to check ur game out btw :3

Thand you so much, that means a lot!! I really like space and also 2012 mobile game bad piggies so I think the stars just happened to align with this one given the theme lol. It did take two all-nighters tho ;-;

Also, great to see another cat game out there o7 I will be checking it out today

WHAT that's an honor!!!! Thank you!!

Also ur game looks awesome lol I'm def gonna try it out after work

Its very possible our tumblry-ness rubbed off on it a bit LOL

Bad piggies was a huge inspiration for the game! especially for the art. Im glad you liked it, thanks so much for playing. I'll be sure to check out your game when I can today :D

Thanks so much! That part was all me hehe so I'm glad u liked it

Wow, this is an incredible game!  The art is incredible, storytelling and vibes are perfect. And overall, I think it really leaves an impact on you. Btw, you nailed the 2.5d paper mario style! I'd love to see what you do next.

This is such a strong concept! I love the choices for the card mechanics, it was so satisfying to see the score multiplying. I liked the timer-related cards the most!!

FLACOMINER!!!

This was so fun to play! Movement felt great, especially for a game jam. I liked the level design too. This is a small thing, but it would be great for you to add textures to the obstacles so the landscape looks more recognizable!

I watched you and it was awesome!! Thank you so much for playing, it means so much that you enjoyed. I was cheering you on the whole time  :D

I was a little confused at first but then i realized what was going on and was like "wait this is awesome"
Very fun and chaotic! Great take on a "clicker" game where you are rewarded with more chaos

This is such a cool concept, it's a very relaxing and cute game. I struggled at first but managed to finish it!

btw, it works great on phone!

aaaa thank you so much! I wish I couldve seen the build. Bad piggies was a huge inspiration, esp for art, I LOVE that game.

Also, yea we actually only planned to have three fuel pickups but after play testing we realized it was too punishing. so then we added like a million so people could have more room to mess around lol

Not sure if you intended it, but this game works perfectly on phone!

I really like the thought that went into the mechanics of the cards doing things on different counts, I managed to beat the game! I actually had more fun the second round since it was harder (also the cards were more interesting but maybe that was just RNG).

I don't think I've seen any musical deck builders before, so I was really surprised with how well the two went together. Very cool!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

We actually only planned for the first(and only) ring to only have three fuel pickups, but then after play testing we realized that was too punishing for a game jam, especially since you didn't have much room to mess around with designs. So then we added like a bunch everywhere lol.

Also, one control we failed to mention in the game itself is that could can rotate thrusters before you place them with right click! Not sure if you knew.

That thruster damage thing is actually SUCH a good idea, honestly it wouldn't have been too bad to implement either I wish we thought of it!

Thank you so much for playing and the great feedback!! The glorpos had it coming tbh. Also 20 launches isn't bad at all! From what we've seen , that's around the sweet spot :)

Also, I'm so glad you loved the mechanics!

hehe thx so much ana :3

Oh my gosh that's an honor!! We put a lot of effort into making the game feel good to play in terms of progression so that means alot. And yes bad piggies was a huge inspiration (esp for the art) I love that game!

Thanks so much for playing!! :D Rotating can definetly be hard depending on how you design your ship. If you take a look at the bottom of the page, you can check out some suggestions for designs that make it easier! (with some tradeoffs, of course.)

If you know about that though, I do agree that controlling the ship can be a little too challenging, I think more types of thrusters would be a great idea.

This is such a cute game I love it!! I really like the 2.5D style (I've tried it in some of my games but it's kinda meh.) The soda bottle item was my fave it was sooo satisfying to use. I made it to the end after not too long.

Also unrelated note but my pc lagged for a second mid-jump and when it unfroze my guy was on the floor family guying it was SO funny.

I watched him play it and I HAD to come rate it all 5's too and leave a comment because this is amazing!! How did you guys think of such a cool mechanic??

what the heck this is one of the coolest coding-based jam games I've seen?? most people have block based coding but you guys have your own documentation that has fairly complex capability?? crazy.  Really enjoyed playing this! and the sound design is cute :)

I had some other ideas at first but I decided I didn't wanna get reported...

OMG ur right

yayy thanks for playing !!

loll I'm glad u enjoyed :)

Thank you so much!

Thank you for the feedback!!
