I like the chaotic feeling of this game - or maybe because I always crank max power and place 3 blackholes at the hole to secure my victory :))) The game is very solid and I love how polished it is for a 3-days-jam too. Well, the only small problem is the UI blocking a lot of things on the screen, maybe all you need to do is add a button or something to hide it. Overall, great game man, hope you do well on upcoming projects too!

I feel like an idiot who doesnt know how to play gold ( i dont, but you get what i am saying) too hard for me T-T, had fun with the doohickeys and thingamajigs the game has though, a solid overall 4/5 game.

Reminds me of some of the coolmathgames I used to play as a kid. I found clicking back and forth to place fans and such got a bit tedious; adding number keys to select could improve it. Overall solid game that must have taken a while to make.

What do you use to make the leader board?

Developer

That's a good note about number keys for the tools 1-4 would do it.

Unfortunately, for the leader boards I literally made a function in Microsoft Azure and used Azure Data Tables to store the data. That's what it takes if you're going to save people's solutions the way I did.

There is a free and easy leaderboard solution through Microsoft though I think it's gone through some changes since I last used it.

Wow! what a fun game. Thank you for making it.

This was super fun to try to play! The idea is honestly super fun, the concept of a game where you have to score a hole in one to win is super interesting, and the fact that you also have to sort of cheat your way through as well gives an added challenge

Loved the music too! I like how it’s sticking with the limitations of the NES(or at least sounds like it, that triangle bass is pretty solid), but also has a very complex structure!

The only feedback I have is that at first it was pretty confusing to figure out what I was supposed to do, and also the UI does kind of block the gameplay a bit, especially on smaller displays such as my macbook’s.

Other than that, super solid entry

Developer

Yeah, I made a last minute UI change that screwed me on the screen real estate front.

Don't give me any credit for the music btw. I need to put it in the description but the music is:

Stage 3 - Snake Rattle and Roll - NES

There were many times where I wanted to rage quit but this game was just too addicting!

Really well made mechanics and level design make the game a treat to play even though you're terrible at it.

Looking forward to more!

Ok I wasn't expecting to have the kind of fun I did with this one cause at the first level I didn't understand what I was looking at but that's just me not being a golf player lol I did think the UI controls shouldn't cover any part of the level map/obstacles though because in some levels they cover the golf ball

My main strategy was fans + black holes

Edit: I also think maybe in-game tooltips for the objects would be helpful :)

I suck at this game, not gonna lie, the art is good tho, the mechanics and gameplay also fun

EVERYTHING about this is amazing. The synergy all of the objects have is great. Having multiple Leaderboards is a really cool idea. I just suck at this game REALLY badly.

The game isn't playable because I can't enter my name

Developer

I just uploaded a fix to the text stuff. I hope that fixes it.
