art/character designs are very charming, music was also quite nice... sadly the web build is practically unplayable.
not sure why u didnt use the same colors from ur game to be used on ur cover art.
I wonder, did you use Timers to set the beat, or did you read the system time? For rhythm games, timers are not precise enough (in godot), and the beat will tend to drift away. Otherwise, I love the art and the music. I wish there was a b1t more feedback though.
The game looks great and is fun to play – if only I weren't so bad at these kinds of games 😄.
Loved the art and music — the little animations are super cute!
That said, gameplay felt a bit flat. Would be awesome to have some clearer feedback when you land or miss a beat — like sound effects, visual flashes, maybe something that tracks streaks or shows if you’re doing well or not. Even a crowd reaction or a fun combo meter could make it feel more engaging.
The music is cool and I really like the art style.
A chill little rhythm game! I had a good time with it!
the red and black colour scheme looks so nice here, and is a nice change from the common black and white. the animations are cute and the whole drawing looks really nice with the crowd, stage, and everyone performing!
I really like the artstyle XD
the ghost is very expressive so cute XD
it's true that the play the note version went very fast
but the desktop version is not working :'
I'm glad you enjoyed the art :) Sorry about the desktop version, it's my first itch submission and I didn't realise I had to include the pkg file :/ It'll be fixed after the voting period!
Short but great, love the music!
I like the art, the game is simple to understand and very chill. I wish there a little more feedback when I hit a note tho! Great work overall!
cool !!!
and art so cute
I love the art and characters so much! The little animations are so fun. I think giving some juicy feedback on successful hits via animation and sfx would really elevate the experience. Overall good stuff.
I like the visuals. The game lags of feedback though when pressing the right buttons(at least for me). With firefox is nearly not playable cause of lags.
Thanks for playing! Ye for some reason when I exported the game to HTML all the notes went out of sync :/
I enjoy playing this, but I am lousy at these games where you much match the beat. But at the same time I like playing this, since the surrounding visuals are very pretty.
Fun, and well done during only one week!
It is such a cute and fun game. Mechanics are lit bit sketchy, but you can control it, so... Nice!
It's so pretty! The characters have so much personality and the whole scene has a really strong vibe! This is a concert I would go to and the perspective makes me feel like I'm there. The music is really cool too!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Really cool game, loved the art sounds but I think you need to add more feedback when hitting or missing.
Agreed, I think I'll do a pass on feedback juice after the jam :) Thanks for playing!
Love the artwork and fun music. Probably a user error, but I had a hard time staying on beat with the notes. A small thing but at the end when it said YOU ROCK - that made me smile. Nice job!
Sadly the HTML version of the game is totally out of sync, I need to investigate why that is. Thanks for playing!
Really nice game -- would've benefitted from some indicator that you were hitting the notes correctly! Also, I think a continuous movement of the arrows, rather than discrete steps downward, might make it easier to time correctly
Love the art, the song, and the use of the theme! A leaderboard and a slightly more complex scoring system would make this sing. Great work.
