Her name is Korra and she looks like that irl :)

had a weird bug where I couldn’t click start at first

Someone else ran into this as well. I think it may have something to do with the web export. FWIW, it’s just a standard Godot button control. Good to know for next time.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

zoom-ins and animations got me chuckling Same! glad it got some laughs

maybe could use some more difficult tracks later on Agreed. We had some neat ideas for bullet patterns but they just didn’t make it in in time.

Thanks for playing and for the nice comments!

Yay! We made a decision to remove “health” and just subtract score multiplier so it would be more fun for non-bullet-hell-enjoyers. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for streaming and the thoughtful feedback!

  • I tried embedding instead of full screen w/ the optional “full screen” button itch provides but it ended up cutting the game off for me. I’ll play around with this some more. The web export in general has been a little jank for me.
  • Will update keybinds for non-US layouts.
  • I’ve got a patch ready for adjusting the volume (and compression levels) of the music.

Thanks again!

What pacmac should be. Loved the colors and music. Really great job!

PS. No issues at all playing on web. Everything synced nicely!

Hard agree, it pained me to release without more required polarity mechanics! I hope we can add some fun things in the future. Thanks for taking the time to play and review!

Aw there was a bit jank we noticed when the build got exported to web so I suspect that is the issue. Thanks for taking the time to check it out though!

Loved this. Really satisfying seeing everything combine. I think there is a lot of potential here!

Love this.

For the first 10 seconds I was really determined to kill that creature chasing me until I realized I should run. Really like the music, art, and everything going on here. Really like the bass/sawtooth sound in the menu. 10/10 will frantically slam codes in again.

Whoa that’s a huge compliment - thank you!! We had so much fun with the art and music we almost didn’t finish the actual game :D

Loved the art style. Unfortunately I was too dense to get past the first boss :D This was really great though. Made me smile!

Was not expecting to fight evil anime villain beet. Nice entry!

Nice submission!! Music was catchy and fun. I think there may be a bug where after restarting many times the health decreases faster than normal. Reloading seemed to fix it!

Love the style of the art and the general weirdness going on here. Great job!

10/10 historical facts

love the art and music here. had fun dancing!

would beat boxes again

This was so cool and inspiring. Love the music and the whole is premise is really creative.

Curious if you used Godot’s new AudioStreamSynchronized for getting the tracks to line up. 10/10.

Really nice. Love the artwork. Time slowing mechanic feels really good. Going to be surprised if this isn’t a top entry!

Love the artwork and fun music. Probably a user error, but I had a hard time staying on beat with the notes. A small thing but at the end when it said YOU ROCK - that made me smile. Nice job!

Thank you!!! Agree about more patterns > randomness.

Really cool aesthetic! Having some visual indicator of what I was clicking on would be nice (like the area). The voice was unsettling and fit the vibe :D Nice job!

Really fun animations and atmosphere. Liked this!

Now, I don’t want you to be intimidated, but my high score is six.

Once you build a sufficiently sized garden a genre-shift occurs and you are now conducting a plant orchestra. Very good. Panning the camera with RMB would have been nice. I had fun and really liked the visuals.

I love squirrels. 3rd level has mario-esque shortcut which was fun. Adding squirrel noises would have been really great. Fun little game.

Thanks! The music and sounds were really fun to make. The “planting” sound is just some carpet being scratched with some low-pass filters :D

I have no idea why :D the rules of the game were not clear to me.

Honestly us too :D It’s less about rules and more about just planting things and that probably needs to be clearer. There is some math to determine score multipliers based on how you’ve balanced the luna and sol plants in your garden around the plant being scored.

That’s great feedback. We considered having it zoom out at the end of every season too so you could see the growth happening but it just didn’t make it in.

Aw that’s really encouraging thank you!

Hey thanks!

Could be a nice accessibility option to allow tool tips on hover of the plants

Yes! We had these neat cards designed for this too and it just didn’t make it in. We ended up making the grass tiles a little lighter or darker to signify this but the player isn’t directly made aware of that. If we come back to this we’ll definitely incorporate that feedback.
