Short but clever!

Phew that was fun!

Great concept - was lotsa fun :)

Amazing idea and executed brilliantly!

Thanks - didn't know that was an option!

Harder than it looks but very satisfying in the end

Lovely mechanic, very neat!

Great puzzle!

Amazing game, loved every second of it!

WOW what a great mechanic - and a pleasant set of puzzles! Took a while to beat but was a joy :)

Loved it!

Incredible, and very very difficult!

Great stuff!

Room 8 requires finding a new mechanic. You got this!

What a creative concept! And executed brilliantly.

Die Harder is a 2D puzzle-platformer where you must find creative ways to die and utilize your dead bodies to solve intricate puzzles. You can play the web demo here.

At first I thought it was just another sokoban with pull, but level 5 onwards really impressed me. Great game and wonderfully designed!

Wonderful execution :) Wishlisted!

This is very fun! Do you plan to make the demo available for macOS anytime soon?

Surprisingly addictive!

Neat game!

Cool game, very creative use of mechanics.

Brilliant! My habit of randomly clicking things on the screen when I'm thinking helped me out a bit... else it would've taken a while. Clever concept :)

Thanks :)

Interesting suggestion - I'll consider it, though there are some parity issues to think about (I preferred if pacman and player were always exactly an even number of squares away, or else they might pass through each other if timed exactly). Thanks for checking it out! :)

Congrats!! And thanks for enjoying the game :))

Thanks for enjoying it! As for the metronome countdown before the start, I sadly had to take it out an hour before submission due to audio latency issues in the web version :(. I plan to add it back soon, though!

Great game! It was annoyingly difficult at first but became much easier once I realized I didn't need to pick up every beat box. So perhaps that can be better communicated to the player. Overall I think the gameplay was very nicely designed and more importantly it was very fun to play

Thanks! Hopefully with a few more updates on visual cues, bug fixes, and a tutorial you'll get to play it the way it was intended :)

The mechanics were a bit confusing, but after figuring it out the game made a lot of sense. Very original and cleverly designed! Well done

Great stuff! I love the character design and animations, and the combat feels very nice

I'm not sure how to play this without dying after clearing the first wave of enemies. Nevertheless, great job, I like the style and especially the music!

Great job! I love the art, it manages to do a lot despite the color limitations. The game became exciting once I understood the rules, but I do think it could've benefitted from having a form of tutorial, even if it's just text. Also, I thought the lizard man is too hard to beat compared to the one before

Congrats! For now the other two stamps are 1. beating the game without deaths 2. beating the game without using trapdoors, but i plan to add more once the jam is over. Thanks for checking it out :)

I'm sorry about that! Have you tried refreshing the browser? The game has around a 50% chance of not working properly for some reason :( If the game is working fine, then you should try timing the move to match the movement of the ghosts, on the beat. The first move should be after "3, 2, 1, Go!", aligned with the first move of the ghosts

Great game! Took me a while to learn how to play (especially using the last turret to defend my core) but once I understood it the game became very fun to play. I like how you see the "beat" forming with more turrets! I think the game could do with more explanation on the turrets and also with enemy variety. Also, the game wouldn't let me continue after beating it for some reason. Anyways, good job!

Well that was scary! I love the concept of the game and I think it works really well with the horror theme. It did take me a while to understand that there's only one key to look for at a time though, so I think it would've been nice to 1. introduce the first key early so the player understands the objective right on 2. show more clearly that the points on the map aren't where the keys are (I spent a lot of time confused cuz I thought the map showed the location of the keys!). Otherwise, really well done!

I like the idea behind the game, though I got stuck on the third level. (I matched the rhythm to hit the crystal, but the door doesn't open). It would be nice if there were more visual or audio indicators of the puzzle being solved, and also if the spheres bouncing on the panels didn't make the same sound. Anyways, good job!

Sorry about that, it's probably a latency issue, so maybe try refreshing the page a few times! If it works properly, then you should try moving at the same time with the ghosts (on beat)

Thank you!!
