How does your game fit the theme?
In this puzzle-platformer, you can scale everything in the level using portals of different sizes. Not only that, you can also scale the portals themselves, leading to loads of fun puzzle-solving.

Everything here, from the gameplay to the art, is polished to a mirror sheen. Amazing job, I would definitely play more of this!
Y'all make some pretty cool stuff. Glad to see you're still at it. Congrats on another sweet game!
The feel between the different player sizes really stood out to me as a win. The big form felt weighty and giant without being unwieldy and unfun. The tiniest form was a lot of fun to watch zoom across the screen with a bounce-slime. The art and music all add to the whimsical vibe for a nice puzzling environment.
Some of the levels just felt a little tedious. Needing to push a box across a level is just boring and time consuming, especially if you need to do it more than once for portals. It would have been nice if the design got more time to tighten up some of those puzzles where you know the solution, but have to "go through the motions" to actually complete it. But that's a jam timeline for you! There was also one level I got really stuck on because I didn't realize the 2nd largest form could also smash yellow blocks. The level in which you need to go mini to go up and around and break from the other side. I would go across, make my self the biggest size, and then the hallway was too short for me to actually reach the yellow bricks. But then the green portals broke and wouldn't let me resize myself down. The largest portal would just grey out when I approached it, from either end. I had to restart every time, so you should be able to reproduce it if you want to drill down and fix the bug for a post-jam update.
Overall, another solid entry. Keep up the good work. Just leave some video slots for us solo devs ;P
Ahhh, see, now, now we're thinking with portals! Very polished and enjoyable. Great music too!
Tight puzzles, great style!! Impressive work! Well done!
Interesting game, but sadly has too many critical issues, I keep getting stuck when going through portals, or sometimes cease out of existence, crates of same size don't push each other, can't shift-grab backwards to portal
Thanks for playing. There were a few issues with the portals that we couldn't get fixed in time during the jam unfortunately. We did include a reset and skip button to help alleviate in the case the player got stuck. Being able to push multiple crate is a great idea which we'll have a look at after along with pulling crates through portals as this is something we were aiming for but ran out of time to do. Thanks for your feedback.
Amazing game! The concepts is quite interesting and it perfectly adheres to the theme. Also, the game is very polished, from graphics to gameplay. The only thing I missed was a fullscreen button, playing on a small window was quite annoying. Well done!
really nice artstyle, controlling portal sizes was a unique idea, overall great game!
Really nice game! Liked how the jump height, speed and weight changed when the size changed. I should’ve changed those too but realised too late in development :(
The song is so cute! Fits nicely with the aesthetics. Damn I really love your GMTK entries lol.
The small dust clouds when the characters lands feel a bit odd, due to being so static.
On the 4th level (I guess, the one where you scale a box appearing on a portal up), I think I died while spawning carrying the box, dunno why.
Sometimes carrying a big box through the portal bugged the box, like it clipped out of the stage.
By the way I couldn't get past this stage, either I'd get softlocked or would die not able to spawn again when carrying the box through the left portal.
Kudos on making such a charming fun puzzle!
Hi, thanks for playing and the feedback, appreciate the kind words. There was a few bugs with we couldn't completely resolve in the game jam timeframe. And certain levels are more likely to expose them. We did include the skip and reset buttons to try and help out if the player ever got stuck because of a bug or when trying to solve a level.
Love the presentation on this game. The visuals are excellent, the sound and music are excellent, and almost everything feels very polished. There are quite a few game-breaking bugs (I was pushing a box into a portal, and I was going through but the box wasn't, trapping the box behind the portal), and I was stuck on one level for like 10 minutes because of said bugs.
I also forgot/didn't realize that I could pull boxes as well as push, and almost gave up on a level completely before I saw that 'pull' was listed in the controls on the itch description. I would've liked to see pulling be tutorialized, probably with a level that has just a box and a button, where the box can only be accessed by pulling.
But besides those two things, this game is absolutely phenomenal. It feels great to play (bugs aside), and there are some pretty clever puzzles in there. Well done!
Thankyou for playing and the kind feedback. Unfortunately we ran out of time to squash out bugs completely in the game and they show up more often in certain levels. We included a skip and reset button in case the player ever got stuck. We had an in-game text description explaining the pull mechanic but I think teaching it in a tutorial level is a great idea too and something we will definitely add post jam, thanks for the suggestion :)
The art and sound of this game is great, and aside from the obviously clever core mechanic, I really admire the steady, accessible pace at which new gameplay elements were introduced.
I think my only critique, albeit a not-insignificant one, is that I ran into level-breaking bugs on three different levels. While I appreciate the skip and rest buttons for sure, I ended up giving up before the end as a result.
Fantastic work overall!
Thanks for checking out our game. We did our best to get to as many bugs as possible but a few still crept through unfortunately, and they do show up more often in certain levels as you would have discovered. We will try to address them as best as we can in a post jam update. We appreciate the kind words :)
Good pixel art. Good music. Good puzzles. Looks really polished too. This is just an overall great game.
