A really interesting concept. I love the stretch you put on that player, and it looks great because of it. Getting your companion to jump correctly can be finicky though. Good job!

Simple but effective :)

Pretty simple one. Every levels are fun until the levels with the jumping of the AI. The thing is that the player can't jump on the AI if he is jumping.

The minimalist graphics and the music are very well made! Awesome game!

This is a really good entry! The graphics are super clean and everything fits well together.

A few small things:

  • Some levels got really hard towards the end just because of the time constraint. Maybe you could make the big guy move a bit slower, or find some other way of giving more time to the player?
  • An auto-restart when dying would be nice instead of having to press R
  • The trigger for going to the next level could be a bit closer to the edge of the screen, to prevent having to walk off screen too far, but that's really a nitpick

Great work!

Thanks for the useful feedback! If I end up continuing to make this game, I'll definitely use your suggestions.

Very polished game! Has great visual feedback and puzzle design - the only thing I'd suggest is to make crates and doors a tad more obvious. Good job! :)

Cool game! I spent way too long playing it! The polish is very well done for a game jam, and it is super simple!

this game looks friggin great

This is perfect. My only constructive criticism I can give is that it would be nice to have some QoL for faster resets of the level when you killed one of the blocks. Looking forward to your next projects!

Thank you so much!

I really like the idea of the game. The visuals is simple and cute. The levels are easy enough for it to be fun for a jam. The characters are really simple, but you can identify them quite easily.

The pushable box should've been a different color to make it more clear tho. Also, it wasn't clear at first that the AI would jump over the box, since I find myself letting it die so many times at first.

Thanks!

I really like the characters and I see where the inspiration comes from. I almost gave up on level 4ish or something because I didn’t at all understand the boxes, perhaps they need some stronger visual marker to spell out that they are tools to be used. After I got that I progressed a couple of levels more but in the end the game was too hard for me to complete. Great entry though.

Thank you for your feedback! I didn't have much time to playtest, so the game remains a bit unbalanced.

The slow Jump Animation was a little weird but after playing for a bit it got to be pretty fun

Good game and it looks good. but there is one thing that bothers me the slow jump animation but maybe that's just me.
