I really love the audio.

Developer

Thanks! I downloaded almost all of it (apart from the voicelines) from Mixkit.

Wow! Definitely my favorite game of the jam so far :)

Developer

omg this is a masterpiece. only piece of feedback is o

 make the text more clear

Developer

thank you so much lol! I have noticed that people are struggling with the text- I will note that for next time :D

Funny game! Well done :D

Developer

thank you so much! i am now greatly intrigued by your game. will check it out :)

Submitted(+1)

Really humorous and a great game overall.

Developer

Thank you so much! Hope it was easy to understand and beatable lol!

Submitted(+1)

Aaaaah yes! A perfect representation of my family! This is why (and how) I left home! Pressing the enter felt both like a typewriter and a nuclear launcher button, very satisfying :D

Developer(+1)

Hah! I knew this would appeal to a certain audience! Thank you so much for playing and leaving such a nice comment, it really means alot :)

Submitted(+1)

I really liked this idea! It could also sell as a multiplayer same-keyboard game!

Very well done.

Developer

oooo it definitely could! Perhaps with one controlling the bots or something along those lines! Thanks for the review and the comment, it's really appreciated :D

Submitted(+1)

Nice game haha! My keyboard got a good massage, pretty sure I woke someone up with all the clicking.. You might want to look into compression settings (Idk what the Godot equivalent is, Unity user) to make some of your pixel art not blurry. Cool game!

Developer(+1)

Legend! I do need to look into de-blurring my pixel art- as I always struggle with it in 2D games. Thanks for playing though, and I appreciate the comment :D

Submitted(+1)

Yes, search for a checkbox in sprite art import settings, it's often a frustrating checkbox away :P Most likely a compression setting or some kind of filtering setting.. The issue lies in the engine trying to smooth out your sprites, which might be good for high-resolution, but definitely not what you want for pixel art!

Submitted(+2)

It's the "Filter" option in the Import tab in Godot 3.x

Developer

will definitely remember that for next time :)

Submitted(+1)

Innovative and funny concept!

Developer

thanks! hope you got the hang of it too :)

Submitted(+1)

amazing and fun game, cool concept, enjoyed it a lot! unfortunately once i’ve been forced to go outside…voice acting is on point

Developer(+1)

great to hear! hope it wasn't too hard and easy to get the hang of! thanks for the review!

Submitted(+1)

Loved the concept, the game itself was very fun, though my strategy was to just build a wall around me and spam human bots, also you can place bots on the UI, which is weird.

Developer(+1)

oh yeah- i forgot to fix that bug lol! sorry if that was an inconvenience in any way- and I hope you enjoyed apart from that :D

Submitted(+1)

Really fun game!

Developer

pogger :)

Submitted(+1)

Fun concept the button mashing to get points was fun but the game is very easy and so it got repetitive but overall good game.

Developer

Yeah, I favoured simplicity so I cut down on unique mechanics and enemy fights therefore, instead of forcing new mechanics and therefore rushing them. Thanks for the review!

Submitted

Some sprites are a bit  blurry, but overall great job! :)

Developer(+1)

they are! sorry about that. godot isn't very good with scaling up sprites, and i'm still new to pixel art, but thanks for the review!

Submitted(+1)

yea I know that problem, first time using pixel art in unity turned out the same for me :D well, but learning stuff is one of the things why we do game jams, isn't it? :)

Developer(+1)

exactly!

Submitted(+1)

I like this game, very original concept ! This was really funny, except my own little sister killed me on my first attempt ah ah. I had some trouble on my first try to understand exactly what robot did what action, so I ended up buying them randomly, but this was fun. The sounds effects are really cool too.

Also, it's cool to go outside after a game jam :)

Congrats !

Developer

Sorry if it was unclear about the robot actions! Glad you enjoyed though :)

Submitted(+1)

Love the keyboard smashing nature of the game, as well as the unique story. Almost beat the game, but I was forced to go outside, next time I'll be smashing more buttons when I get there!

Developer(+1)

Haha! Hope it wasn't too difficult, but maybe going outside will do you some good XD

Submitted(+1)

I think it was just difficult enough, makes it so you don't beat it the first time, but you come back for more.

Developer(+1)

great to hear :D

Tried the game. I can say one thing: it’s a good game, funny, do it’s job in a 3 days jam game. I don’t see so much “wowie” though and the tutorial was totally unnecessary for me. It was too long and managed to arrive on “ a boss “ without knowing anything. Visuals needs improvement, SFX and music were enough. I think this game point on being fun and funny, and this is not a bad thing. Keep the WOWIE up!

Developer(+1)

The tutorial was unnecessary but you ended up not knowing anything? Sorry if it was unclear- I tried to make every mechanic obvious and easy to understand, as well as the tip at the end. Which enemy did you get to?

Submitted

I mean I skipped it entirely just to see how the game was intuitive and it was even without the tutorial. I reached Mum btw.

Developer(+1)

I see. Generally doing the tutorial would help lol. Thanks for trying and leaving a review though!

Submitted

If you will do the same to my entry, you are welcome! ☺️

Submitted(+1)

Haha, not gonna lie, actually had a lot of fun just obliterating my keyboard.

Developer

LOL that was what I hoped for! Hope you enjoyed it and it wasn't too challenging, and thanks for leaving a review!

Submitted(+1)

Awesome game man. The text was a bit hard to read, but the game was pretty easy to understand anyways.

Developer

I was concerned about the text, yeah. I'm glad it was easy to understand though, and thanks for leaving a review! :D
