5 stars for visuals and sound but i felt like I was watching someone else play, I could seem to affect anything on screen no matter how much (or where) I clicked.

Developer(+1)

There's some strategy to it; I've been chasing a 500k score, only to have a friend beat me to it this morning; but I guess that is rather subtle, overshadowed by all the CHEESEy carnage, heh.

Glad you love the presentation at least though. Thank you. <3

this game has a lot of potential. The art is amazing, the sounds are great and this is one of the most creative games ive played from this jam! The game has the "umph" that a game needs wich just enhances the experience! Great Job!

Developer

This comment made me very happy. Thank you! <3

a very fun, nice looking game! i loved it. however it did feel like i'm a bit out of control and what i did didn't matter and i'd win anyways, and couldn't really control how much points i got. so i think gameplay needs some help. one thing would be that i could control where i push the cheese and change it up until the point when i let go of my mouse button.

but this game has a lot of potential!

Developer

You're right, you win no matter what you do. "Failure is progress: Let's mess with the concept of winning and losing".

;)

Oh I love this. It's like a mix of happy room and a rube goldberg machine. Really nice use of the theme, and I love the art, and overall aesthetic. And the music. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I love Rube Goldberg machines, and although I wasn't thinking of them when I made this game, evidently it was there in my subconscious. Poking me. With cheese.

Again, thanks! <3

MMMMMMIIIISSSTEERR CHHEEEEEEBSS! Ultra funny game, thanks for letting me play it :)). Good job!

Developer(+1)

Oh, but thank you for playing and enjoying it! <3

Yes! That announcer should announce everything in my life ^^ I love the humor, also the music and visuals. The game loop is satisfying to go threw over and over. So, conGreatulations to your awesome submission!

Developer(+1)

Hahahahahah, not sure about everything; it might make my throat incredibly sore doing so! (Yeah, that was me...)

Thank you for your comments, this all means so much to me! <3

Submitted(+2)

You have the perfect voice for this! Ever thought about announcing cheese related events professionally?

Developer(+3)

Can't say I have! The only voicing I really do is for my games if I need it. ;)

Submitted(+1)

Your performance totally made my day! :)

Submitted(+1)

Really fun game! :o good job! :D

Developer

Thank you so much! <3

Submitted(+2)

The perfect combination of a suspenseful planning phase and then a comedic chaotic phase where all the plans go wrong in ways that couldn't be more fun and satisfying to watch. Congrateulations, this is truly a grate game!

Developer(+2)

Oooooh, I appreciate the pun there! And thank you, so much! <3

Submitted(+2)

I just can't leave a pun unspoken when it comes to my mind :D

It is so statisfying when the cheese flies around uncontrollably and then goes into the door in the last moment.

I also like the art style and music, it fits very well to the game concept.

But at first i had a few problems understanding where i had to click in order to flick the cheese in my desired direction.

Overall that was very fun to play. Good job.

Developer(+1)

Your problems are understandable, and on purpose; I opted not to explain the game in any way to encourage the player to "fail", and thus realise they still progress if they do. I'm really glad you found it satisfying and fun though, thanks for the comments! <3

Submitted(+1)

that was FUN. Thank you

Developer

No no no, thank you! <3

Submitted(+2)

I liked it, since you cant really lose its a super chill game  :)

Developer

Entirely the idea. Thank you! <3

Submitted(+1)

Loved the style! The music and Audio fit very well and I really like the feeling you achieved. The only thing I'd say is that it gets a little repetitive after a few levels, but overall, a really good game. Good luck!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Hopefully the game's just short enough so that the repetition isn't too much a problem? With a couple more days I'd have loved to make more stages, backgrounds, and gimmicks; but these things all take time, a thing I didn't have an awful lot of. :)

Submitted(+1)

I love the style. It reminds me of something, but I cant recall what it is.

I enjoyed the game, it was relaxing as I knew I couldn't lose. I wanted the cheese to go flying everywhere, so flicking it towards the grators and bounce-pads were a good thing.

I enjoyed this one, good game!

Developer

Thanks for your kind comments!

If it helps, I did try to hark back to the better examples of the Newgrounds/Flash game boom; stuff like Alien Hominid has always been an inspiration visually, and combining that with the simplicity and physics play of something like Angry Birds, and that's essentially where I flicked my creative cheese (so to speak) at.

Submitted(+1)

Gives me nostalgia from old popular flash games I used to play. Amazing!

I'd appreciate it if you would take a look at mine!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! That's partly what I was aiming for; people often use 'looks like a flash game' as an insult, but actually some of them looked great in my opinion, and developers could do worse than recapturing what is now a happy part of many gamer's childhoods. <3

Submitted(+1)

I didnt like visuals but I loved the Idea, This seeing your cheese shredded but only a little tiny piece make it to exit is satisfying

Developer(+1)

It really is satisfying, isn't it? And the best way to score points, as it happens!

Sorry you didn't like the visuals. I've a pretty quirky drawing style, and accept that it won't appeal to everyone; glad you otherwise enjoyed my game though. <3

Submitted(+1)

This game is so cool! I love everything about it! The art, music, gameplay, effects, everything is super polished.  Well done.

Developer

Thank you! This means a lot to me! <3

Submitted(+1)

0/10 I had to harm cheese to win the game, at least it was fun though

Developer

Glad you had fun. But I promise you, that is a stunt-cheese and no actual cheeses were harmed in the production of this game.

Just my drawing hand.

Submitted(+1)

This game is awsome,  full stop.

I dig the main mechanic, though you do have to learn how it works and it'd be nice to be able to somewhat control the velocity.

Fun game with enough content to make your grand children excited about it! (Accounting for this being made iin a jam.) Honestly, reminds me of old and weird flash games from newgrounds.

Developer(+1)

Under no circumstance was I going to make a mechanic explained well enough for players to succeed at it right away; I wanted at least a couple of flubbed attempts from the average player so they'd fail, and see that they still progressed regardless, and understood that failure is progress. I feel like an easily-masterable control may've enabled players to overlook this detail, so it was a totally-conscious desigin to go with that chaotic high-powered 'flick', just to have players witness the extent to the consequences of their actions.

Thank you for your comments though, it means a lot. <3

Submitted(+1)

Well, you defenetly achieved your design goals then

Submitted(+1)

just a solid and fun experience all around. no weak aspects of this game

Developer

Thank you, so much! <3
