Robot-X is a fast paced 2d platformer shooter with 7ish areas each with a boss battle. Gameplay time range is 4 to 10 hours depending on your skill and how much post game you want to complete. I hope of you pick it up you enjoy!

i accidentally deleted the source code of the game about ten minutes after i made a backup so this is the only version and to make an update i would have to relearn how to make atari games cause it has been so long, and i would have to start over from scratch.

UHHH What!? I enjoyed whatever that was, I think it was the most adult game I've ever played though lol. 5 stars in all categories

audio visual presentation is awesome, but it quickly switched in and out of calming and frustrating, and I F graded every level. sometimes the level felt like it was rotating too slowly and sometimes too quickly, but I overall enjoyed!

very simple and easy to understand but I think the starting speed is a little too fast. overall pretty good

I enjoyed it, but there were way too many enemies and it made it very difficult to pay attention to just one ore, and I had to keep running away. it looks nice and sounds nice and controls nice though!

Did you get the all amber ending or the bones ending? as for enemy signaling… oops, its really hard to do in a 3:4 aspect ratio, but I wanted to be faithful to the NES wherever I could. also my little brother was my only playtester and he is a God Gamer™

I'm so glad somebody noticed that I stol- BORROWED the Jurassic Park theme, thank you for playing!

WOW. GOOD!

It took me a moment to figure out the game, but after it did it was a great aha moment and i really liked the idea!

you always get points no matter what, if you roll a 1 you get 1 point if you roll a 6 you get 6. Scoring is literally the entire point of the game

yeah

I don't think you need to worry too much about performance, since it worked fine on my old laptop with no gpu and only 2 gigs of ram. I did find the tutorial quite difficult and when i fell to the bottom of the pit in the second tutorial I lost health really slowly and then got stuck on 1 health and haven't died and also cant jump and the text saying how to reset is off the screen from where I got stuck so i thought i was stuck for a bit. I do really like the mechanics but its hard to tell what's happening without full art assets giving player feedback. and yes I'm the same goofyblocks as you may have encountered before

0/10 I had to harm cheese to win the game, at least it was fun though

this is  great game I love it. also bob is friend. I'm so bad at game I found secret

dont play this, its actually bad lol

i actually implemented score to give an incentive to try, because I was having issues fixing exploits. You actually can win by pushing no buttons but you will also get a zero score.

yeah, I have not done much with this game since I released this demo but I've added power ups and fixed some scoring bugs I am hoping to eventually get the game to a finished state but I lost a lot of motivation on this project.

Sorry I over reacted the demo you made is really cool and impressive

I just made a portal demake after weeks and weeks of working on my itch.io posted it at like 1 in the morning today and now I see this. It kinda hurts.

post your final score in the comments

thanks for the feedback and I was gonna spend more time working on the game but I have school and chores and things like that, and I know I learned a lot from rushing a game in such a small amount of time.

I don't think there are safe zones though

please dont use safe zones or bugs to your advantage until you tried it and beat it on your own, thank you.
