cool look and idea the controls are a bit squishy

Developer

Thanks, the controls were quite rushed!

i think there is a problem with colliders while animating the character. when i'm falling near the wall and then rotating my self to wall, it teleports me other side of the wall. nice work:)

Developer

Sorry about that! I'm glad you liked it!

Idk if it's mouse that has a problem but I found the attack very laggy. Appart from that, I love the relevance to the theme, and the controls are really fun. Cool game !^^

Developer

Thanks! Sorry about the slow attacks, I'm currently working on the game and will improve this, so thank you for the feedback!

Fun game! Really like how the game is designed to be played twice! But I think the text “run” is not clear enough. It took me twice to think about running back. Anyway, good job!

Developer

I completely agree, I would have preferred to have made a sign but ran out of time! Thanks for playing!

I really like the wall grab and slicing bullets with the sword.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Really Cool Game!

Developer

Thanks!

The gameplay is solid and the mechanic are fun, but in need of a little polish. The only real down side is that I couldn't see the connection to the theme. The guards seem to take 1-3 slices to kill rather than only two.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it, it goes with the theme because you have to play the same level twice!

really fun game, the mechanic felt smooth

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Music is good, and it's a very nice game I just don't know where I should go after I press run. Keepp Going man you're doing great! controls are p good too!

Developer

Thank you so much, after pressing the button you have to run backwards onto the same buildings as they slowly collapse, fitting into the theme because you have to play the same level twice!

Submitted

The music is fun but i dont think the theme was that well implemented. I got a little confused at the end what I was supposed to do, but the mechanics felt pretty good.

Developer

At the end you were supposed to run back making it so you have to play the same level twice, as buildings collapse around you! Thanks for playing!

really fun to play. I thought that it was kind of hard to dodge the first enemy's bullet. I liked how the people get sliced in half.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it!

I loved the music! I kept the game on in the background while I read my emails lol

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! Though I must say that I didn't create the music and it was downloaded from a site named FStudio!

The platforming mechanics felt really nice, and the audio and visuals are fun! I like that you have a built in leeway for the sword to cut the bullets (though it might be a little much since I noticed it immediately).

Going back through the level felt nice because the wall jump felt really smooth, but without enemies to fight while doing so, it was lackluster. My suggestion would be to build your levels to focus on the platforming/mobility more. In this demo you don't need the wall jump until the end, but it would be cool to climb up a wall, jump in the air, and slash an enemy in the back or something. Those kinds of moments are always real cool :)

I completely agree, and if I continue this game I will add this in!

The game play feels nice, but it bothers me that not every pixel is the same size.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I would have liked to have made all the art all the same pixel a size but due to time I couldn't!

Submitted

The game is a little buggy and I don't really think that the theme was implemented that well. Other than that it's an alright game, although it is quite short.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, would you mind telling me what bugs you encountered!

I clipped through the wall once and wall-jumping didn't seem to work properly, I can just get stuck to a wall and ascend. Also, I couldn't swing my sword when I was on a ground multiple times.

Developer

Thanks for highlighting this, I will look into it
