10/10 kink

10/10 kink. Really lived up to the theme of the jam. The animations were well done.

Well, I never expected this to be someone's kink, but here we are. In that aspect, I think the concept pretty much lived up to what it was trying to do and showcases that off.

Like others have said, I can see that a lot of care has been put into the animation. I do feel, if you're keen in exploring such an exotic kink, that there could be a lot to add-in that could improve it as a term of making it more game. Right now, it pretty much just draging the worms in from a side and seeing them developed, with the particles in the end as reward. Maybe you can add some different type of worm mix-matching? Different types of characters that react differently? I feel there's a lot that could be explored to take this beyond hyper-alpha.

Best of luck for what you plan to do with this game next. Cheers! 🐳

The animations were very much a labor of love.  I don't do it much, and by the end, it was about 131 frames spread across 36 layers.

Also, I very much want this to be a tycoon game around designing sexual symbionts / parasites hence the name Infectious Designs.

Eep. I definitely know people who will be into this! The animations have obviously been done with a great deal of care and attention :)

That..... sure was a thing. MY GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE???

Remains very faithful to its conceptualization.

btw - if you decide to develop from this alpha, there's a glitch at "100%" where the worm sprite starts vibrating all over the screen and things seem like they're about to crash. Could have been intentional, but didn't seem like it!

That sprites are actually part of a particle effect.  They seem to glitch out in browsers that aren't Firefox :T
That's also an issue that won't be fixed until the 3.2 release, too >:T
They should be fine in the desktop builds.

I... I don't believe any game has ever quite freaked me out, but it sure is novel and I bet you tons of other people will likely be into it!
