Driving is very enjoyable, and music is so good chosen...it get some 80's (90's?) vibes.
Aesthetics is great too.  Also plot is short, but intriquing.

I hope you don't abandon the project and we will see full version!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I will work on it.  Happy to read your comment :)

i like it :D it was a fun experience

I would liked a shorter experience but with a horror or spooky theme, it was just a delivery game, but it has the potential to be very a very spooky game, pd I like the models, very detailed

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked it! I will hopefully add more stuff in the near future. The game will become spooky πŸ’€

I enjoyed the game, I'm just sad it ended before showing anything horrific. controls are good, I like the aesthetics, well done !

Also my girlfriend wants to know what is the music playing in the car !

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Name of the song: Just Breathing (Instrumental) by NEFFEX (I found it on Youtube's Audio library).

Very cool atmosphere! The music fit the driving part of the game, and it was cool that it actually seemed to be coming from the car's radio :) The controls were very nice, and I enjoyed the beginning of the story.

I do think having a little more feedback from the NPCs (like maybe a thank you or whatever) would make it a little more clear that you did the right thing. I'm excited to see what you do next!

Developer

Thanks for the tip! Glad you liked iit :)

Aw man, all the atmosphere buildup and not thrilling conclusion. One thing that might be fun if you get around to the postjam update -- I usually don't like voiceacting but this seems like the right place for it, with the player trying to drive while the story's going on. Radio music was nice haha

Developer

Thanks for the suggestion! I really wanted to work on the ending but time was a constraint. I submitted this build 20 seconds before the final countdown. Glad you liked it :)

This is a really good prototype. It shows off well what the game would be and gives a good impression of the overall feel. Controls worked nicely and it was smooth to play, now only if you could get rid of boxes you accidentally took out of the trunk, but that's just a small detail thing. Car was bit too sharp to turn, but honestly it doesn't have to have realistic car movements. I was going to test if running was faster than going with the car but the car has that banger of a song going, I couldn't leave it behind for a second lol. Really, that song was great and I loved the detail of it coming actually from the car, so whenever you left it and went off the whole atmosphere would morph from the synthwave night mood to an empty, more horror type of mood. The whole environment was also great! I really just loved driving through the fog, listening to the song and watching lights go by. It was quite fun to also explore with the car after the prototype ended heh.

Anyways, before I ramble more about how good of a night atmosphere it was for me, good work! Definitely you should continue development ^^ Good luck!

I will definitely work on improving the things that you have mentioned. Thanks for taking time to play & for writing such a cool feedback! It means a lot :)

Good to hear ^^ And no problem, I like to game test so I kinda just go off when writing feedback hehe. Good luck on the development, tho you are already doing pretty dang well with it!

Fun! I hope this gets an update in the near future! I spent quite a few minutes driving, trying to do donuts, and heading really far out of bounds. Kept me entertained. Good job!

Thanks! Glad you liked :)

I liked the game a lot and I can't belive you managed to create it in 1 day :)

Developer

I made this proto in 4 days. Glad you liked it :) Thanks!

Nice game, I'm curious to see where the story will go in the future.

Developer

Thanks for the comment!

The car felt pretty nice to drive although I think it would have benefited from acceleration/deceleration.

Developer

Yes, certainly! Fun fact: Current version of the car is running on top of a sphere rigid body. I'll probably add wheel colliders and more realistic physics in the full version.

Thanks for commenting!

Great feeling in this game! It is fun to just cruise around with the nice music.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

Love it so far! I think this could do well as just a relaxing delivery game OR a game that descends to horrer! Eager to see where you take it!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! Both of the pathways sound interesting. I think I can play some similar games to get more ideas. Thanks for the suggestion!

This game was amazing. It wasn't very scary. BUT, I hade a LOT of fun playing, just vibing in the car to some good music driving around delivering packages. And ending the game by driving out into the sunset... exept that there was no sunset, And I drove of the map. Amazing.
When the game get's updated and expanded I'll defenetly be playing it!

Amazing game. Keep it upβ™₯

Developer

Really happy to read your comment! It means a lot :)

Cool game prototype! I like the atmophere and the vehicle controls are smooth and nice to use. I had to set my widescreen monitor to 1920*1080 to be able to read the UI/text boxes. Might be worth looking into if you keep working on the game.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for mentioning the widescreen UI issue, will definitely look into it. Glad you liked the game. Thanks for the comment!

I see the potential. I was already like really into the mood of it.
