Wow! I loved the environment & lighting of this game. The music was great. I felt like a blade runner. Happy there are checkpoints. Ending the game with that quote was like a cherry on top. Great entry! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Thanks for playing!

Super flattered it reminded you of Blade Runner a bit. I know Deckard's apartment is in the Ennis House which is technically modernist, but come on. We all know Frank Lloyd Wright was influenced by brutalism on that job.

Beautifully crafted! Strong grasp of the chosen architecture, sounds and atmosphere all work well together. Great job!

The mob creeped me out the first time I saw it.  I first ran into it in the 3rd room and the mob in the 2nd room didn't appear until a while after, but then it disappeared again.  I don't know if that's a glitch or not.  The 3rd and 4th rooms seemed to always show the mob.  I thought a few of the areas where the noise came up was just noisy and not so much scary, but the first few areas and other ambient sounds did keep me spooked.  Well done :)

Developer

The mobs are currently checkpoint dependent so once you hit a new checkpoint the old ones go away. :) Thank you for the feedback!

I had fun playing this! I enjoyed the architecture, lighting and sound design, except for one area where it was a little noisy. Well done!!

Developer

Our programmer said the volume couldn't be changed, so we're instead swapping the sound out to play "Yackety Sax."

In all seriousness, we're gonna adjust that sound down a bit. Thanks for the feedback!

Loved it! I was curious, the architectural style hooked me immediatelly. You did a good job.

I have a comment about the control: you should be aware that playing on non-qwerty keyboard is a little messy because the mapping is done on the letters and not the physical key positions.

Developer

It's the Brutalist architectural style if you want to check out more real life stuff like it. :)

Yes, I know that style. This is why ๐Ÿ˜

The monster was actually pretty scary. The trail killing me was kind of annoying as I kept accidentally touching it. The last room was a cool idea with the little pockets to hide in. The sound was cool, lent to an unnerving atmosphere and the SFX when an enemy was near heightened the fear. Simple collectathon goal was fine, nice that it had an ending.

Good game, really surprised so few people have rated it so far, the thumbnail looks cool too.

Developer

Thanks! We are discussing making some tweaks and releasing another version so the feedback on the trail is appreciated. :)

Maybe we can just make the trail more monsters.

A conga line of terror.
