that was realy fun!!!! the music was great. avoiding the cops was enough of a challenge to keep me alert but also not difficult enough to be frustrating. i like how each character had a different scream lol that was a cute touch

You were right, destroying the town (at least the stuff lying around) was really fun. Overall, the whole game had that arcade fun feel, it was quite fun to roam around. Partly because the environment had lot of interesting things to see and the music + sound effects were great. I think the sound effect you get from collecting candy is a bit late tho, but that's a nitpick. The animation for player character was great btw, top notch walk cycle. Now, only thing I'd want to improve is the camera: Make it so it shows little more of what's in front of you, so the player could see better where they are going. It's not a big deal to be fair, I mean I loved how the camera would follow your hatched, it really felt like a movie! Heh.
Regardless of my nitpicking, really solid experience, I found an Easter egg (pretty sure it was lol) and love em. Great work ^^

Sound design and art were excellent, very camp and retro which I liked. Combat is fun but I found myself wandering around a lot with no enemies in sight. Maybe increase player movement speed or have the spawn rate get higher as the game continues? Still had a lot of fun with this one!

Really cool art. Good sound design. X didn't work, P did work and felt really good to use. The main issue I had was the lack of any challenge. If the humans fought back or if there was a time limit of some kind it would have been a lot more fun.
I feel this game is so close to being very cool but because its lacking that challenge as part of the game loop it falls short. Still a very good job though.

THANK YOU SO MUCH ZMatah i really tried to make a very nice audiovisual experiencie, but this is just our first version, we are going to improve that on the future to bring you a better and SPOOKIER experience! (also i liked ur entry, it was the first entry that i played from this jam)
