So nice music and concept this one could be a verry pretty smartphone game

good job

I absolutely loved the music. The gameplay fit the theme perfectly and I think it would make a great mobile game. I think a better explanation of the controls in the beginning would be helpful, but otherwise good job!

Really cool entry! I really loved the concept and the art worked really well together, as well as the awesome music and fitting sound track! The camera zooming felt a bit off for me at times, but the other gameplay mechanics made up for it! :D

LMAO, the graphics are awesome!

The idea is very original and the gameplay really smooth.

Nice relaxing game. The flings are not too hard to get used too, but on the other hand mastery of the rotation swings is definitely not easy, with some skill needed for the ideal aim and speed. That makes it well balanced and nice to play.

Very cool game, liked everything! Good job!

Just wanted to say the music is great :)

I started to enjoy this game a lot more when I treated it sort of like a golf game. Trying to aim my swings to land on the next platform.

I feel like the score and lives didn't really mesh well. Like in between each shot I had to stop to grab all the orbs so I could get the highest score. I would have preferred a regular golf system with pars for each level and a score for your number under or over par at the end.

I loved the control of the pendulum and the aesthetic was lovely.

This is an interesting game, for sure! I love how you've captured the essence of climbing by flinging this light ball into the stratosphere. I'm on board with other people in the comments, though. It might be because I played it on desktop rather than mobile, but I was wondering if it was intentional that I can just drag the ball across the screen instead of flinging it around.

Overall, this game is great already and has a lot of potential! ^^

Really chill game, I liked the mood you were going for. Super satisfying to sling the light around at top speeds

Hey. Cool entry :) Music and general aesthetics were really fitting. I don't know it that one is intentional but i could just drag the pandulum across the screen to collect all the points at every floor. But really gread concept. I could see this working great on mobile :)

Thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed it.  I was on the fence about restricting movement completely while flinging, but decided to allow left/right to make things a bit easier. I think I might tweak it into more of a vertical golf game for mobile.  Make it real zen.  Looking forward to trying your entry!

Nice game! I love the aesthetic it's really relaxing. It's very fun to play with, at first I did not understand how to get to level 2,  but I found out because I was playing by sending it bouncing everywhere, it was very funny.

A very enjoyable experience, keep creating games!

Thanks for the feedback, glad you found it relaxing!  I'll probably add an arrow to the first level, but I'm a big fan of discovery in games, so I'm glad you had a funny moment discovering that!

Liked this game.

Polished nice aesthetics.

I think the difficulty is right for me anyway.

Level 4 for me so far.

Would make a fun mobile game. Already better than most probably.

Pretty unforgiving though.

Needs a way to recover from a bad drop. You always want a level able to be completed no matter what ? or do I just need to git good?

Developer

Thanks for playing! It is meant to be challenging after the first few levels, though I plan to tweak it to be easier post jam.  Take advantage of the fact that you can pan to the left and right while swinging, and try to throw straight up!  If you use that approach, most of the levels become fairly straight forward.

This is obviously meant for mobile, although I played it on Desktop and once I got the hang of it I enjoyed flinging the light around. As far as suggestions, I think there should probably be at least a couple platforms (clouds) at the edges, although I do appreciate a game that requires precision. Pretty fun, and I think with slightly more refined UI and graphics, this could be worth working on.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, definitely mobile first, but playable on desktop.  I think I should make this more of a zen game if I keep working on it, but I was trying to balance the later levels to require more precision.  I think it's more fun when you aren't worry about precision too much though.  Appreciate the feedback!
