Super atmospheric game, and the progression of items you need to continue felt really intuitive. The level design was just confusing enough to make me feel disconcerted but not totally lost. Really impressed with the amount of sprites needed, the environments all looked really good!

Wow this is so creative! Really interesting having to balance attacking the boss with giving yourself enough time to pose properly.

That flash effect is really awesome, great work!

wow that heart caught me off guard lmao. Despite not having finished game states, the mechanics are well executed

Really satisfying and fun mechanic! Loved the small details like the guy’s dialogue (lore?), the B&W shader on the cursor, and the ring of floating leaves enclosing the play area. The floating leaves was really well executed!

Wow the theming is amazing. Really polished entry overall

Loved how the story and the gameplay mechanics were really intertwined, especially with regards to her getting more and more stressed as the days go on.. stressing me out too.

Also that ending cutscene was amazing wtf

Really unique twist on a classic game with insanely good execution! The game feel is really on point, and the art and audio really great too. The UI is super clean and intuitive! I liked the variety of powerups too, they’re interesting to play around

Loove the narrative and absurd nature of everything that’s going on. I’m a sucker for melancholy, that ending was great :)

And w floofles

The character and environment designs were on point, I’d say the hitboxes are a bit unclear at times though. But WOW that opening cutscene is INSANELY GOOD, good work

Very fun concept executed well! You did a really good job at selling the sense of urgency.

The 2D art is also absurdly beautiful.. kudos to whoever worked on that

Glad you liked it!! :))

Really happy you received it well!

Thank you!

wow ABSURDLY UNDERRATED it’s absolutely criminal I’m the first comment here. There’s so much characterization fit into these brief conversations and the aesthetic is insanely good. Whoever designed the OS and whoever worked on the music needs an award NOW!!

The typing minigame felt really thought provoking with the choice of words and the coloring choice. There was one day I noticed that there were repeat words in the word cloud - honestly no idea if that was intentional but it felt poignant regardless.

BTW There’s 2 bugs I noticed on like day 4? Ophelia’s portrait is replaced with Julian’s for a couple of her lines. Also Camilla’s dialogue repeats near the start.

Also hilarious that you sneaked “counting down” into Ophelia’s dialogue lol. I’m a sucker for melancholy but I think you guys made something very very special. Congrats!

Overall really polished entry! The controls feel really challenging yet not unfair. You really nailed the atmosphere as well, great work!

Thanks again for playing! :)

Awesome pixel art! The game mechanics was smoothly introduced throughout the entire game and each new platforming/combat challenge really felt like a natural progression from the previous one. Using the upwards cast on yourself to get to the higher platform was a really cool moment imo

Nice mix of puzzle and tower defense! It reminded me a lot of Into the Breach, was that an inspiration at all?
All the sprites are so great but I love the monkeys especially. And the music track too… great game all around!

Wow really cool boss rush gauntlet. I really liked the archer and mage’s attacks especially, there was something really satisfying about dodging or blocking their attacks!

The horse minigames made me laugh out loud when they came up for the first time, great work with the whole game :) The sirens music track at the end was so insane too..

Love the art style and concept! It’s interesting having to play around both characters strengths/weaknesses

So polished! Really love the dialogue and setting

Character designs and animations are really cute :) Growing plants to get new abilities is a sick concept, I was pleasantly surprised when my rose plant kept growing to let me shoot more thorns per burst

Very cute graphics :)

Cool mix of like strategy games and puzzles. The monk’s ability especially I thought was really interesting. And very good use of the asset pack!

Awesome graphics, you were going for a certain aesthetic and I think you nailed it. The player, souls, environment, etc. all looked great

Despite the lack of environment art, I really liked how the game looked! The fish and player sprites are really nice to look at, and there was a lot of subtle details that I really appreciated like the slight bounce when the player turns directions, the air bubbles, the wavy shader over the screen, text animations, etc. A proper environment definitely would have taken a lot of time, so I think it was very clever use of resources.

Also, the player movement felt perfect.

Love the art design! The gameplay mechanics are really sick and the main character feels super responsive

Loved the cute art style and the concept of speedrunning resolutions with minigames is hilariously clever

The art style and interactions are very charming! I especially like when you get to a cart, reminds me of the bullet bill from Mario Kart

The enemy designs are so cool! Love the aesthetic

Very clever mechanics and great presentation :)

Thank you! And it’s cool to another submission with a zombie theme as well :)

The sprites and animations are really charming :) very fun concept with the different prepping stations

Liked the large variety in the items! Stacking lightning boots was real fun

Nice mechanics, sound, graphics.. all around great puzzle game!

Very creative and fun physics mechanics :) I especially find hitting the edges/sides to rotate/push them to the next slot fun

Thanks for the feedback! Yea I would’ve liked to expand the gameplay variety if I had more time..

I like the moveset variety, sort of reminds me of a fighting game. The little robot that follows you around is cool too. Is it intended that you can jump while in mid air and just fly to the top without the elevator?

Modern takes on traditional roguelikes are so cool, really nice work with the animations and sound design! The atmosphere was super well done, love seeing something more atmospheric game amongst all the arcade/puzzle games. And the ASCII helicopter was a nice ending to see after getting through it all! Being able to stumble upon and loot a zombie graveyard was a nice touch as well, felt like a cool surprise.
