Loved this game visually! Really good job! <3 It felt so cozy. I didn't really see the theme here but everything else was just great!

A very charming game, I did not understand the relation with the theme and the camera could have been adjusted better. The graphics were super cool though

Yo this game is awesome. I'll first give a props to the aesthetics, It's so cute! I really love the packages inside the trunk jumping around as I create terror in the neighborhood with my abyssmal driving skills. I also like the detail of giving player slight clue on the package distance between the objective.

All things said, on the theme part I feel like more theme integrations should be added. Then the camera needs slightly more refinement a I personally think the view was slightly too low. But other than that, the simplicity of this game is definitely a very good hook that piques my interest.

Lastly, I want to talk about sound design. I really like the fact that the soundtrack portrays the game really accurate. It really sings "What could possibly go wrong in this morning package delivery shift?".

From visuals, system, sound, gameplay, and UI, if I could describe the entirety of this game in 1 word,
that would be : "Smooth".

thanks very much for the feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to write this about my game. I’ll definitely have a play around with the camera angle a little to see if that changes anything.

Yesterday I was driving my golf cart in Sons of the Forest, and today I'm driving a car in the same vein.

Nice driving game for the jam, took me awhile to realize the nubers below the boxes were the distance from the target drop off location, would have been nice to mentione this in the descriptions so that we don't drive around randomly trying to find the drop off point.

I really liked driving the car into all the obstacles! Great job with the car physics, best of luck with the rest of the jam!

Developer

Hi, I didn't quite get the theme of the jam in your game, but you did a good job with the car's movement mechanics, it's fun to drive!

Submitted

Visually very appealing. It is a bit hard to control on low speed.

I had fun!

Enjoyed It , the driving was little hard for me haha.....

rated ur game , hope so you will rate mine too .

the graphics are great! it be nicer if we had arrows to be able to know where to drive for the package, i seen the packages having the "32m" but it's bit hard, and also controls bit wonky, but this is such an amazing idea!!! i really like it.

Developer

thanks, the arrow is something I wanted to have in there but couldn’t decide how it would work with three different ones. Ultimately I left it out of the game but will definitely come back to it. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

Man, this is a unique entry! I like the idea of an out of control van trying to delivery packages, but I'm not sure it tied well into this Jam's theme. I'm such a terrible driver...I didn't submit a high score just to spare myself the embarrassment. The art style was very consistent and cute!

Developer

thanks for playing, glad you liked the idea! I kind of went a bit abstract with theme and went with the randomisation aspect rather than literal dice. This is the first jam I’ve properly completed so wasn’t sure how literal to go with it. I loved your game too, it’s a great idea for the theme

i really like this. My best was 7 overall. Might be slightly hard to control but that seems intentional based on your previous reply. I'd like to see where this project goes, Maybe more levels? (sorry i can't rate it, i wasn't able to submit anything for the jam).

beautiful but hard to control, and idk how its related to "Roll the Dice" theme

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

I was going for something hard to control to have some amount of chaos, but after scoring I’m going to change that a little and expand the map so you’re not constantly bumping into stuff. It takes the theme roll the dice into account because I took it to mean having an element of randomisation and chance which in this game is getting random buildings to deliver to. They could’ve really close together or far apart. This was my first ever jam I've actually finished so wasn't too sure how literal i needed to go with the theme, I'll this is in mind for my next jam though! thanks for the feedback!
