Heey thaanks a lot for playing and giving such a good feedback! :D
Yeah, the game has an ending is kinda like an "escape room" style game where you have to find the answers to the Gods questions in order to escape the place. You get the answers having conversations with other characters yeah (if you really want to see it I could make you spoilers for the answers but because its a jam game I tried to not make it too difficult to get). I didn't really have enough time to put in all the content I wanted but there was going to be more than just conversations. I spent too much time polishing the visual style hahaha (Really glad you liked it <3).
You can play the web version here! https://player2.game/games/0199b21c-eacd-7a91-822f-2703e905b5ee
Really cool concept for the idea of a virtual pet, never would have thought on making a town be the pet! Clever!
(Also I saw that you had problems with the AI working on web, I also use Godot and my AI also doesn't work on the web build but I figured it was just a setting in the HTTPRequest Node, if you uncheck accept G-zip, which comes activated by default, it does work on web exports too, just in case this helps you :D )
I just realize there is an issue with the talk functionality of the game (it uses an AI API call to let you talk with the pet). In windows and in the game engine was working perfectly and I didn't test it in web until now. I managed to fix the web version just with an export setting but I get this is a jam and games cannot be updated until it finishes. If I could update the fix version that would be great but anyways I will update it once the jam ends so you can talk with the pet! :D
