Overall it miss a lot of feedbacks + VFX + SFX etc. BUUUUUT after the Jam I'll work on the game again. I will take it in a new direction, from a game jam game to a more complete thingy!

Did you encounter any issues with the controls? I've added a fix today to allow QWERTY users to use WASD instead of ZQSD (since I'm using AZERTY).
I've played this game at start of the rating period, and remembered that WASD is not working, and today already started with SDQZ. Good to know update is here haha. Have to dm rest of my team!
I really like the visuals, the audio is also nice.
I just find the game is lacking in content with only 1 evolution to get (at least that i could get)

There's indeed only 1 evolution, one more was planned but scrapped since it was not as functional as the other one. The ui/feedbacks/SFX/music took all my time on the last day
pretty nice game, i may "take" some ideas from this for a post-update like the enemy flashing on a hit.
Quick question, is there any other "volution" stages? or just one, because i'm so bad at the game that i can't seem to get to it, unless there is only one upgrade.

Yeah, this little feedback is really important. It makes the game a little more "polished" + the player knows if he it the enemy.
Don't worry for the evolutions, there's only 1 available at this time. More were planned but the second one was a little bit bugged and overall not balanced at all, so it was scrapped before release :D

Many others have already mentioned the WASD input, which made it super hard. Was interesting trying a different convention of input, though! Loved the effects and sprite art.

Controls are not for everyone. The music is good.
Sorry for the controls, they're made for AZERTY keyboard, you can try to SHIFT+ALT to switch your keyboard to AZERTY.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to upload a fix during the review time, so that's the "fix" I can provide for now :(

Super hard keyboard controls 😂
Maybe if you're using an unconventional keyboard add movement through arrow keys.
Apart from the movement, the difficulty scaling needs a bit of work, there are way too many enemies at the very beginning, Maybe the movement makes it feel harder than it is but I feel like there should be a bit fewer enemies till the player starts evolving and getting a bit better first.
That being said its a nice concept, and I like the art style.

Ahoy, if you're encountering problems with the controls, try to Shift+Alt to switch from QWERTY to AZERTY.
I also think there's some tweaks needed with some numbers, HP, DMG even the wave's timer. I can imagine that the controls are not helping at all espescially if you miss the W and A button (I guess since it's ZQSD on AZERTY).

Good game I like the pixel art, It might be user error but I wasn't able to kill more than 3 attackers before I died. seemed like I couldn't shoot fast enough. Has potential would like to have seen more than first evolve
Thank you for the feedback. Maybe the game's page wasn't updated with all the controls. You must move around with ZQSD if you want to have a chance to survive :D

That's the beauty of it I guess, honestly I'm happy with what I've made. Except for this little problem with controls everyone is experiencing but I don't think I'm allowed to provide a fix with QWERTY support until the end of the votes. The best I can do is tell people to SHIFT + ALT :(
