I absolutely love the slight chromatic aberration in the background and the walls, great work there. Great core mechanic too, but the start is waaay too slow :/ I think you could also use some game juice there, maybe give a watch to this awesome talk?
I have to say that's really interesting! Even when you have the new blocks you need to think about the order to optimise them. That's really clever!
This was a really awesome idea, kind of reminds me of babaisyou! Great job!
Really neat concept! :D Love all the different blocks. This game has a lot of potential. With more blocks you could try loads of different builds, which would be great! I think that the rate at which you get more coding blocks could be a bit higher.
Overall, a solid entry :)
Funny
Good concept nicely implemented. Normally I take a break from coding to play a game, not the other way around ;) Nice retro arcade feel too. Well done!
The coding module concept was interesting! I was too bad at the game though and didn't get very far. Would be neat if there were more modules to build off of! But maybe there were, and I didn't get that far XD.
Thank you for playing our game.
The progression in our game is a bit unbalanced so thats also a reason you didn't make it that far, but im glad you enjoyed it!
This is my favorite game in the jam so far. The concept was great, the execution was great. I love the visual coding screen for programming your bullets. Very clever and I bet it was fun to code as well. I am quite impressed by this submission. It was a wonderful experience.
Thank you, were really glad you enjoyed our game so much!
I hope you also had a great time making your submission :D
Interesting idea and cool effects! Well done!
Neat Game. The graphics are really simple, but I think they look cool. The audio is minimal but the music sounds nice (and a volume slider is appreciated). The concept is really interesting but I'm a bit confused how to get the code blocks because it seems to be very inconsistent for me. Also, why is the the anti-virus coded in scratch 0-0
Thank you for playing our game!
You get code blocks for every type of enemy after you kill them 1,15,30,45... times

good.
Very cool concept! I enjoyed playing, and the effects are all pretty nice. Good work :)
Thanks allot for enjoying our game !
Sweet concept and nice track. Really liked the Code to modify part. :D Only issue i really have are the soundeffects :S ear bleeding. but rest is a great game for a jam :)
Thanks for enjoying our game,
And I agree the sound effects are a bit trash :P
I thought this was a great idea and really impressive to get the mechanics working in such a short period of time! Everything worked well together and I felt like I could quite easily understand what was going on and how things worked.
The effects at the edge of the arena and when you got shot were a nice touch and the themeing was really coherent and polished!
I did find it quite tricky. I really wanted to be able to collect loads of code blocks to experiment but i was struggling to find many (I guess that's a testament to how fun the idea is!).
Nice work, great job!
Thank you for playing our game and giving feedback.
There are about 8 code blocks in the game but we made the game progress a bit too slow so that's why you didn't find them all :D
I am really glad you enjoyed it though.
Really nice concept.
The movement is quite slow though, and the fire rate is so low. I'm not quite sure if they go up later in the game, but it took a bit too long.
But I really like the idea, and combining code together to make better projectiles.
Good job!
I agree that the game is a bit too slow paced.
But im really glad you liked it!
