Ranked from 28 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
The main mechanic is the swing and it only uses the space bar.
Any additional information for voters?
Rushed to get it in on time, so not much time for testing, hope everything works okay!

Really fun concept, and works in a surprisingly polished fashion! I really enjoyed the idea of how the game progresses, but I didn't really understand it on the first try!
Other than that though, this was actually just a really fun golf game. Definitely fits both the SBIG theme and the One Button theme. Well done!
I'll be honest I didn't expect a golfing game in SBIG jam, but I'm glad one exists. The swing mechanic is a bit awkward at first but you get the hang of it. Determining the angle is a bit rough but its functional.
The overlaid commentary is almost relaxing in a way, I don't understand all the references but it fits. The sound effects for the golfing itself are quite nice, and the crowd clapping and cheering is synced up nicely.
The look of the game has a strange charm to it, like the mix of 2d graphics on the 3d area seems reminiscent of old sports games and really adds to the so bad its good feel.
The only issues I have are that it was possible to get stuck in the trees in the third level, which might be intentional with how much it sucks in golf and just to drag out tedium in this game. But also when I did finally restart and get past the trees my ball ended up going under the map because there's a small gap between the ground and the hole. Mind you that felt like it only added to the "so bad its good"-ness, but it was also kinda frustrating.
The mechanic for lowering stroke counts is also hilarious but I'll leave that for others to discover themselves.
Excellent work!
I love the billboarded 2D trees, they have a charming goodbad quality to them. In fact I can say the same about all the graphics.
I'm not sure about the background soundtrack. It has that feel of a joke I didn't get. I don't know much about golf and I'm not into golf, so I think the references flew straight over my head.
I kind of got the hang of the swing; I found it really hard to tell what each arrow meant and judge how far the ball was going to go. Putting into the hole in particular took forever.
I managed one hole, then died. So that's what you meant by "stroke points".
It's almost too charming to be "so bad it's good"... but it definitely has the jank and the weirdness down, so I think it fits.
The 2d sprites in a 3d space is a great idea, and gives this game its charm. The golf commentary in the background makes for a relaxing playthough, probably just as you intended. Great job :)
This is small but funny and has a kind of vibe to it, the game is simple but enjoyable.
Seriously love this game! I love how you put 2d sprites in a 3d world, and the gameplay is really fun. It is really rewarding how when you are new to this game you suck with the mechanics, but with practice you get a lot better
After suffering to win the rounds and trying 45 times to put the ball on the hole on one, I need to say… I loved the sound, simple perfection kek. The gameplay is a bit weird (that is good), but made me suffer a bit (but maybe Im just bad at it ¯_(ツ)_/¯)
Well, overall, great work, congrats! Also again, I loved the sound haha
