This is a nice little point and click adventure game. I could see this being expanded into a Kings Quest like adventure with enough time and effort.

That the sunscream works outdoors but not in front of the kitchen window feels like a plot hole though.

Developer(+1)

I may have left the kitchen window like that to show that there's an animation for anyone curious enough >.>

Thank you! It would be fun to work on this a bit afterward :) the bones are all there and it's really easy to add content. A nerdy king's quest might not be a bad idea!

Beside the lil bug at the garage where you could float, the game was quite nice, the menu's worked well and I loved the random nerd-out facts! Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much :D - that was the last room so I was a bit lazy with the collision lol.

witziges kleines game XD

Developer(+1)

Danke! Schön, dass du es lustig fandest! Ich habe das mit Google Translate übersetzt, also entschuldige ich mich, falls es schlecht formuliert ist, lol.

i'm not good with this kind of game but you did a great job and why are the character's teeth yellow in the game :v?

Developer

They only eat snacks, avoid the sunlight, and I forgot to make a bathroom. The system was rigged from the start. :(

Haha, quite the chuckler and nice framework setup for the genre!

Music is also really nice while typing this out :D @tallbeard

🚪🌝 mmmm hallway

Developer

Yeah I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found that music!  I also had a lot of fun writing the dialogue :D

I was hungry and I found snacks. 11/10

Honestly, well done here. I would have loved to make it to the grocery store!

Developer(+1)

Me too.... me too :(

There is a 50% chance I will update the game that far after the jam is over!

Submitted(+1)

I can't help but to keep licking the doors, it's too tasty! The game is giving a nostalgic vibes of flash games. Funny narrative and good use of the radial menu! A bit of SFX for the options might be a good addition, imagine the licking SFX (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑).

Developer

This may be the one game I modify after the jam is over. Especially for the licky sound. >.>

Sun bad.

Developer

It really is :(

Cool small story. I guess I was similar licking everything LUL. The art style is pretty cute!

Developer

You think my art is cute?! :D Thanks Kani! I hope it continues to get more polished and hopefully more cute over time.

Thank you for playing ^_^

I love that licking door knobs lets you know what is on the other side.

I like the walk animation too. Nice job!

Developer

That walk animation... took me forever... It was my first animation ever as well!

I felt like door licking was literally the only way to tell the user what the door led to.

Cute little experience. I really liked catching on fire :)

Developer(+1)

Hey, me too! I'm glad I forced you to do it on stream! :P

The death animation was a jump Scare
All the best

Developer

Haha, yeah. That was honestly my favorite part of making it.

Submitted(+2)

i personally enjoyed the licking and would like to see more of it.

Developer

I'll make sure to abuse that when you put the TTS back on your stream.

At least five radial menus so good job there.  I like the story and had fun reading all the dialogue.  It didn't feel like the movement was needed and I was confused by all the licking but I enjoyed this a lot.

Developer(+1)

Haha, thank you. I was going for super awkward nerd so I assume they would identify doors by lick.

The movement was intended to be automatic when you go to nerd out/poke/look but they kept getting stuck or doing weird stuff.  Plus it was my first attempt at animation :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it!
