The art and idea were really well done! I like the spooky noises as well.

I am glad you enjoyed it :) Thanks for giving a go!

Spoilers below:

I understood the map, I followed the path, and I just couldn’t find the next lamp oil. I tried multiple times, slammed all the buttons on my mouse/keyboard.

Regardless, atmosphere is great. I just wish I could figure out how I could progress further.

The very next lamp oil on the correct path is right after you enter the door way it is on your left in the corner. (Creepy, loud moaning). The last one you will find is on the spilt path to the left (It is marked on the map to go right).  Though I would recommend waiting for the post jam update to play again :)

well, I have a “only play non-browser games on itch’s sandbox” police, and I couldn’t install it through itch’s desktop client, I think you need to mark it as a “windows game” or whatever is the OS it’s built to :D

Ah yeah I did the first time around. I updated the game about 10 minutes after submitting due to a game breaking bug I found in the loop. Forgot to hit that checkbox I guess. Sorry about that.

I was spooped. Didn't really like the maze aspect tho, kinda felt like I was just going around in circle. Really like the visual and ambiance!

Thanks for playing and showing on stream as well :)

Wonderful atmosphere. Good implementation of the theme. I played the game with pleasure. I understood why there are two empty corridors at the beginning. In order to navigate the map, how much distance you can cover during one lamp cycle. Good idea, but it takes a long time to go through them. Here is one of two things: either reduce the map or increase the speed.

Developer

It is meant to be played at a slow pace, however there is a sprint mechanic coming in the post jam update.

Good use of light and dark. Was waiting for a jump scare (not going to spoil if there was one or not ;-)  ) . Map felt a little big, the first hallway is loooooonng. Then I got lost ><

Developer

I will say there are things I made for the game that did not get used due to time constraints. :) Thanks very much for playing!
