This was really polished but it was impossible to lose. I got to wave 16 and then just decided to let asteroids bombard the planet and it seemed like it would go on for a very long time haha

I did enjoy it a lot though. The radial as a shield was super clever

I couldn’t find a fail condition - maybe I’m just pro gamer :kekw:.

I see what was being interpreted as radials, but they weren’t at all menu-ey. Regardless, i enjoyed popping shields radiating around a planet. Your humor in your writing is great, but I’d rather spend my time playing a game over reading the entire wall of text on the page. Had you incorporated that text throughout the course of the game, I would have probably been able to enjoy it more.

Back for Ludum Dare 50 (Delay the Inevitable) I made a somewhat similar game, except you placed defensive satellites around the planet. Obviously I liked your idea.

Well done!

Great idea of using a radial menu as a shield! The game ran well but got a bit boring after unlocking all the upgrades, it was also a bit annoying you still saw the upgrade menu after unlocking everything. I would recommend making smaller upgrades that can be scaled up! I also loved the day-night shader effect!

I didn't think I'd say this, but meteorites are destroying humanity too slowly!) I think the game would be better if they increased the damage from meteorites by 10 times. Although it's still good now.

I won the game I think. Nice and relaxing game, easy to play and understand. Nice use of the radial menu and the theme as well. Nice job on this one!

We got to 9 billion on earth! I can't believe I did that...

The description for your game on your itch page was super funny. The art and music were really good! I just wish the game got harder.

Love this game, very addictive! Everything looks and sounds good

Really like the pixel art, the sounds effects. It's got a good amount of polish to it. Sadly though, the difficulty is non-existent. If it does ramp up, it didn't keep my attention long enough for me to get there.

Thanks for playing!

It's so cool that a famous Youtuber that usually makes Minecraft videos entered into a game jam. Like the gameplay and the artwork. Game should start at wave 10 because it feels like a slow build up until then. Wish there were more powerups. Cool game though.

I appreciate all the feedback.

Except the Minecraft comments.

How dare you.

Everybody's dead, Dave :(

The pixel art and music are great. Overall polish is insane! I think that it would have been more fun if it ramped a lot more quickly as there wasn't much challenge until about wave 15, and even at that point, I was able to get hammered until wave 30 before I died. I had fun with it though. Great description as well! A little balancing is all that's really needed for this (and maybe a few more upgrades since you stop upgrading at wave 5). I had a lot of fun with this. Great job!

Yeah the difficulty curve is basically a right angle lol. Thanks for playing, and I've added that list of assets to the page description now!
