No way you made your OWN game engine to make this? WHAT?? And the game itself is also good??? Unreal.

Holy crap that animation was buttery smooth all throughout! I'm a sucker for all those extra wavy bits, really appreciate your attention to detail on every single sprite. And the lemming itself was very charming. The fact you used your OWN game engine too is jaw-dropping, seems really powerful and your passion for it is palpable! Great entry all throughout, I just wish there was a bit more to the freezing -- the main gimmick was waiting for a bridge to raise or gate to lower which got a bit same-y. But with this groundwork, there's a ton of different platforming possibilities.
And just for my own sake.. was that last flag in the sky reachable?? Felt like you were teasing us with that D:
Style, graphics and idea are really good. I can see it as a released Nokia 3310 game in it's time. Would be great to see more levels!
Went through all the levels and had a good time, really neat animations & audio
Very well polished and charming! There's nothing I can say that other haven't already. Great job!
this has one of the best theme interpretations, also big up to you for making it in your own custom engine (tried to do so too but failed miserably and had to switch to godot mid-jam ahah), would have definitely enjoyed more levels.
Wow, this is an awesome game, might even be one of The Top 3! The art is cute, the sound effects are perfect, the game idea is also really fun and the game has a good difficulty balance. Really cool to find out that you made your own game engine for this! Is there a way to reach the last flag in Level 8?
Very polished and fun minigame. The difficulty was very fair. The idea to freeze the player movement was pretty cool! Well done!
I really loved just how tight the scope felt with this entry. It feels like you knew what you wanted to make and just did it! The level of visual polish is really nice as well, the puzzles were simple, yet fun. Nothing overstayed it's welcome, so I think you did a bang-up job! Also this is a great use of the theme that isn't just temperature related, way to think outside of the box while still having a simple game with that Nokia 3310 charm!

Actually, I changed my idea mid-course: my first idea was to freeze the game so the player can move things to create a path for the lemming.
But it didn't work. Hard to understand and by applying always the same strategie (reuse always the same block) it was easy to reach the flag.
So after, I though to create a very simplified version of lemmings in which you have only one lemmings which can do only one things: freezzing!
Good use of the theme. Really liked your artwork too. Easy enough to complete the whole game which is always fun.
Phenomenal polish! All your animations are really good, the audio feedback is so crunchy and your designs on everything are really nice; and all on your own engine? Insanity. Really well done! I do think it would be nice to freeze in mid-air; specifically, the puzzle in level 4(?) I think would benefit from more control in that jump, but I see the value in the tight timing required if that's your goal. Oh and that little cloud face is giving me life, i love him so much.
It's an amazing game and I love the concept, and also the animations. Also love the fact you use your own engine. If I ever learn Lua, I would give tiny a try!
Pretty interesting concept. I wish there were more levels. The graphics are nice and cheerful. I love the text effect! Good job!
Fantastic entry! Loved the animation and sound design. Unfortunately got stuck on the very last level and couldn't figure out how to get my character to reach the last flag haha.
