A solid metroidvania for the jam's time constraints, with some surprisingly detailed pixel art and music given the Nokia's constraints. Initially, I found it pretty cumbersome to get around with the snow effect blotting out the screen, but once I got the lantern, it started feeling much more manageable. The small screen size did occasionally make it hard to react to enemies or hazards when I was falling, but that's a minor nitpick all things considered, since dying and reviving is such a quick process.

Transitioning from the cutscene into gameplay kind of blew my mind, then had a grand adventure under the ice. Freezing over time made looking for checkpoint very tense. There's many hazards to watch out for, but they are very rezognizable due to the smart use of "dotted" vs "solid" objects, if that makes sense.

Great work on all aspects and a very complete and expansive game!

Very nice! I loved all the of the visuals! That little intro cutscene was excellent and set the scene really well. Im a big fan of metroidvanias and this definitely captures the feeling of discovery and exploration. Great work!

It feels like a mix between Megaman and a metroidvania, I really enjoyed it! I fell through the floor and glitched on all of my playthroughs, sadly, but it is really fun :) also i love the music

I loved the art style, the level design and the intro! It is really creative how you made the bar for the lantern more detailed, and also the many kinds of danger you introduced :) I loved the freezing effect and the checkpoint system. Great work, I really enjoyed playing it!

How difficult it is without jumps ... And the movement of the camera does this. That if this game was on Nokia, we would all think that it is the coolest. Camera movement really makes the hero come more alive

The freezing effect is very cool and I like the idea of having to explore around while trying your best to keep warm, but I did feel that I was thrown into a deep end with little to no explanation and struggled to get a hang on the game for a while. It was also challenging especially as it took me a good while to find the jump lol. Music was also really nice touch, the sound effects work well with it too. Nice work.

I just love what you did with the small screen space. The initial animations are great and the ice effect is amazing! At first its like “What is going on?!” but one second after this I understood it. Congratulations on creating this!
