I couldn't get out of the tutorial.

Developer

You need to touch the gold cube chadderbox.

Submitted

I did, it didn't work.

Developer

I really enjoyed this game, the puzzle and the asthetics had a strong Portal vibe and you managed to pull out a lot within 48h. Really impressive! The levels don't feel Jam-rushed and are well polished.

I had lots of performance issues. I have a quite bulky pc and it struggled with some moments, making it really hard to do the platforming sessions like with acid pits. Even so, it was really good.

Developer

Thank you for your response i realised after i made it the game would be rather gpu intensive becuase my pc has a very expensive gpu, so i played it to the setting not realising what would happen with outher pcs

It was a nice game. When i saw the pillar like things in the green acid I remembered portal xD

There's a lot of levels for a 2 day game jam, good job on that! The levels are good. The controls were good enough, although at first i thought the jump was a bit floaty. But I guess in the later levels that becomes useful as well, being able to make inhuman jumps :p,

I feel that the graphics is good enough but the performance felt bad. There were only cubes and some post fx and maybe the acid shader, and it felt taxing on my PC, but hey its a game jam game.

Overall I liked it !

PS: I havent finished that last level yet :p Oh man I just saw, i have to restart from the beginning? I had closed the app :( I almost had it, the last level! Let me know when there's another version with all levels unlocked if possible

Thank you for all your feedback, right now i working on creating an entirely new movement model from scratch and fix the pick up system, Thankyou!

Awesome! looking forward to the new version :)

The platforming controls work really well and feel really good. Picking up items lacks a bit. They only move on two axis instead of three, which makes it feel really weird. The best thing about this is for sure the soundtrack. Loved it the second I booted up the game

I like the idea of blocks acting as both a flashlight and a box to stand on / use on switches. I think that idea alone has a lot of potential, especially if you add even more uses for the blocks. From a technical point of view, make sure you fix how picking up blocks works, it's too inconsistent and makes it a little frustrating to place them where you want. Overall though, good work!

Developer(+1)

yeah i spent about 5 hours trying to fix the whole thing and gave up, because of time, i reckon ill try and recreate the whole thing next time

Submitted

That was pretty good. I like the sparse neon colors of the whole thing. I can really see some portal inspiration in some of these stages. The platforming section on that last one was pretty anxiety inducing as well. Only major gripes I have are that picking up blocks can be a bit unwieldy, the buttons are kinda glitched, and getting the gold block in the tutorial is a bit too hard. Otherwise, pretty nice game!

Developer

Thank you for the feed back, the gold block in the tutorial is meant to stay in the same place i accidentally broke the pivot oops..

Kind of Portalish :) Was good to play, thanks !

Welp, the game is actually preety fun, but after the socks(i guess) level, the puzles kinda end, /and the previuss puzles, are super easy. But overall, preety fun game!!!

Developer

Thankyou for your feedback.

I see a few Portal mechanics in there. Overall fun game, but the mouse sensitivity was super low, and I had to play on 9000 DPI instead of my normal 3000, which really messed up the times I had to click next level, etc. On the last level, everything just broke. The blocks clipped inside of me, walls, each other, etc. The music was really good though.

Developer

Thankyou, im sorry about, your mouse, i play on 300 dpi so i must of configured it to be around low sensitivity i must find a way to fix that

Reminds me a bit of Portal.

Developer(+1)

Thankyou, that was a slight inspiration when making it.
