Haha dude this was hilarious. Dialogue reminded me a bit of Banjo Kazooie with the SFX and dry humour. Really well made. The squid(s) walking above the water were funny. If I had any critique it's that it felt a bit slow sometimes underwater, but I guess that's water levels for you. Overall a great entry to the jam, nice work.

Thanks so much dude! :)

Neat game! Animations were very nice, only wish I could speed up the dialogue a bit.

This game feels really polished, from the animations to the gravity switching, and I feel like those could be taken further for a really engaging game. A little bug I found was that the velocity was carried when talking to the girlfriend, so I fell of the edge and had to restart the second level a few times. Definitely worth continuing development on if you get the chance!

Liking the undertale dialogue sfx. Opening Cutscene and story were funny. Liked the bubbles as they taled. wished gravity  and underwater movement were faster.

some bugs: had a bug where if i was running and rescued my girlfriend I would slide off the edge and die during the end cutscene and have to replay the level. Doesn't run in firefox, but works in chrome. Dialogue ended too quickly sometimes and cut off words.

Nice use of layers and parallaxing with the visuals, overall color choices were good. Some of the level blocking with graphics was kind of inconsistent; you'd have nice tiles, and then solid blocks of color sticking out next to them that looked strange. Animations are nice.

Couldn't get past the moving platform level since you move to slow to be able to catch up to it when going over obstacles.

Thanks so much for the lengthy review. Glad you played and enjoyed :) That level was a bit of a difficulty ramp up sorry. Wasn't great level design for sure. Thanks for reporting the bugs I'll try and get round to fixing them at some point.

I was psyched to find a game that offered controller support. But for some reason my controller wouldn't jump as high as the space key. Game could have used a tad more speed. Music was too quiet. But overall, the game was really well polished--I'm jealous!

Developer(+1)

Ah, sorry to hear the controller support wasn't working properly. Need to get around to learning the new controller input system unity has. Glad you enjoyed :)

Great overall goofy feel. Last level was brutal but even when the platforming was frustrating it just felt like it was part of the charm.

Developer

Thanks for playing. I thought I'd throw in a ball bustingly hard last level just for the jokes haha.

Great use of the artstyle, has a nice jovial bounciness to it with the dialogue and movement! A tad bit laggy though, perhaps you could include a windows port? Overall a 4-4.5 star experience, great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot! :)

hahah very beautiful game! The sounds are great and overall it is very polished .. one thing i found frustrating was the fact that if you swim/jump/walk into a walk you are stuck on the wall instead of sliding off it.

Developer

Thanks for playing! :) I meant to get round to changing that I just ran out of time :(

nice and polished, although the conversations are a little glitchy. Also, I dont really want to sit through that long cutscene at the start.

Developer

Hey thanks man, yeah I just ran out of time trying to fix a lot of it.
