This was really fun, a well thought out mechanic with a lot of smaller mechanics linked in with it. I loved how you had to throw your hat for the extra jump. I could see this as a really fun game.
Fantastic mechanic to chose, I wish I'd thought of it too. But I imagine my execution wouldn't be as nice as this.
The controls felt right and the movement is what I'd expect. Good job, I really loved playing this!
The idea is really creative! You were also able to recreate the mechanic really well. However in the second level when I fell down I was still able to walk around the level, which should be an easy fix. That aside this is really a great game and could be expanded. Good job! :D

Really great game, you did a really good job with creating innovative ways to use the mario mechanic and actually it's quite the good mechanic in 2D it works well and you really did a great job with designing some interesting levels :)
Only feedback would be to maybe make the jumps feel a bit more responsive at times, other than that I really think you should expand on the concept could become a really cool 2D platformer :)
Thanks for the feedback, yeah my jump always feels bad, after the jam ends i will take some time to learn what i am getting so wrong with my jumps, and i don't really know if i am going to continue with this game i pretend to polish it after the game jam ends but other than that i dont know what i am going to do.

Thanks, yeah music isn't my expertise, the music that is in-game was created by a friend of mine a month ago for another game and i just re-used. I'm trying to improve my music skills, maybe in my next game I can make my own music, i am glad for the feedback!

Great idea, well executed! The fact that when your hat comes back to you you get an extra jump is a really nice mechanic. It adds way more use to it and also makes the whole experience more fun. The design has to be a work of a professional. I love the fact that the background moves at a different speed is really cool. The background isn't static which makes the whole scene alive and more realistic.

Thank you! the parallax was the first thing that i made when i added the background wasn't so hard i just changed the z axis of the object and the camera to look at the scene in a 3d perspective, and the extra jump was an idea from the gmtk video of the hat throw in mario odyssey where he says that the mechanic i good because it has more than one use of it, i am really glad that you liked it :)
Cute! I love the frog the most, I think more verticality in the levels would be a good choice (at least for the frog). The dashing guy was p hard to control, but cool none the less!
Thank You! i created the frog using cube world frogman as base, i still think the frog could have a better design, maybe a outfit, but i am happy that you liked it, and i will sure place more vertical levels after the votes for the game jam ends.
Fun take on the hat mechanic from odyessy. Good art direction, liked all the enemy types and their special maneuvers (Tho I did think that the frog's double jump was a wall jump initially). Music was really good, and sound effects were crisp.

Thanks for the feedback, I was wondering if I should put a tutorial for the frog but then i decided to let the player discover how it works too much tutorial would hold the player's hand too much. I am also glad that you liked the sound effects, most of the time i was testing the game i was unsure if it was working well with the rest of the game.

Thank you, most of the time of the jam i was trying to get the mechanic right (and yet the mechanic still has one bug on it, ) but if no one sees it, officially has no bugs :)
